Hi @phearable your website says:
REAL DynoJet Hondata results:
386 HP 393 TQ using PRL HVI intake, Intercooler, Downpipe, Exhaust on 93 octane
From my understanding most all exhausts for this car are cat-back. Would those other mods w/o exhaust see similar numbers?
Also do you update your...
Maybe go buy a Golf Gti for 29k (base)
then add:
Big brake kit
Upgraded Clutch
Upgraded Wheels & tires
Upgraded turbo
Tune
and you'll still have a slower, smaller, less reliable car that cost more.
How many miles have folks been getting out of the 4s? I went with the 3a/s on my other set of wheels...maybe I shouldn't have even bothered....wishing for a softer tire on the twisty country roads.
I live in Clayton but work in downtown Raleigh. I'm probably one of the blue ones you've seen. I have frozen bronze VMR wheels on 19s. If I don't wave back it's because I'm blind lol.
@Gotch in regards to spinning tires down low, from what I understand, Hondata is supposed to have a feature to limit wheel spin at lower RPMS, is there a similar setting/feature for Ktuner?
I have a similar problem but it feels like my leg is constantly about to cramp. I think the bolsters are tight and the seat slopes upward in the front so you don't slide forward cutting off some circulation. I'm 6' 175 lbs.
I also have a medical issue that if I don't keep on top of makes it...
Paid MSRP (34.9k) for my Type R. Had a Sti that MSRP'd at 38.6k...so I didn't pay more. :dunno:
Aside from not having to worry about the dreaded ringland failures the Type R handles way better...I feel confident going 10-15 mph faster on twisty roads than i did in the Sti...the suspensions...
GeezR do you have an upgraded FMIC, more open front grill, or turbo blanket?
I'm looking to take my Type R to the track in the future and hoping those mods would help.
Can't find this info anywhere. For the Type R with the Ktuner multi stage tune does if affect the adaptive dampers and steering ratios in the drive modes?
For ex: If comfort is stage 0 will the steering still be light and the suspension softer while R mode will be heavier steering with stiffer...
