  1. End of Civic Si and Coupe for 10th gen

I don't need four cars....I don't need four cars....I don't need four cars ?. I have been missing my coupe lately and was thinking of maybe getting back into on for Gen 11. I loved my Si and knowing that there won't be another coupe option in the future kinda makes me want to add to the driveway :(
  2. End Lease Early?

I'll throw a recommendation out there to check with Carvana. They paid top dollar for my Si earlier this year. The whole process was super simple and I didn't have to leave my house. They can even check your payoff through HFS if you want them to.
  3. Vinyl wrap... Ehh’

If you end up getting to the point of paying for new material. Something to consider is the @Kooltint route. https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/fastest-and-easiest-way-to-chrome-delete-your-honda.21650/ Didn't use it but others have stated it was super easy.
  4. Vinyl wrap... Ehh’

If the sedan doors are like the coupe, you can tuck the slight excess between the metal part of the door and the weather stripping. No need to cut rubber. The only part that was nerve-racking was the rear window, where you are definitely cutting on rubber. I just double layered painters tape and...
  5. 2021 TLX gets de-tuned Type R powerplant

Sounds like the exact same engine/transmission as the RDX. Not necessarily the same as the CTR, as others have stated. Good news is, getting K-Tuner support should be cake!
  6. Where do you store your pistol?

There was a really good thread on this a year or two ago. Lots of pics and not a lot of debate about whether guns are right or wrong. I am a pretty small guy (5'9") and carry a Sig P229. It was not comfortable for me to carry that large of a gun while sitting with it in the holster on long...
  7. Turbooo!!!!!!

Last (and only) guy I saw on here that bought a turbo for his 2.0NA also had a listing for a turbo for sale shortly after making his install post . The short version, I believe, is you can't tune it on the stock ECU. Someone can probably give a more in depth answer. But, you might as well trade...
  8. just went to dealer

Before I traded in my Si, I took it in for a B1 service at 16k miles. Upon driving home, I noticed a vibration a low speeds. It took quite a bit of back and forth on what the issue was but I was told it was tire cupping (though there was no visible cupping and I couldn't feel any on the...
  9. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Me too! From what I could tell, the dealer leaves the front plate off all of their vehicles until someone purchases them. I asked them to keep it off of mine.
  10. Si vs Type R

Thanks! I love the way it looks and it rides great. I miss getting 40mpg already, though :D
  11. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Actually happened over the last three days. But, took all the custom stuff off my Si (except vinyl on window trim), sold it to Carvana, and picked up a new Dad-mobile. I will miss that car :(
  12. Si vs Type R

    Here you go @Zeffy94
  13. Si vs Type R

Carvana is buying my Si for $19.7k, nearly $2k more than what the dealer offered for it :dunno:. They pick it up tomorrow and I am picking up my RDX on Weds! Pics shortly!
  14. USA I Need Help !

The seven letters that are going to ruin your chance at getting one....."for MSRP". Even if that thing MSRP'd for the same as a 2020 Type R, there's no way you're going to get one for that. There are 600 people in the US alone that would probably drop $50k+ for the car. Dealers are going to know...
  15. Civic will leave the stable soon..........

I thought it was the Chevy F430? Either way, I'd trade up to one too, if I could!
  16. Si vs Type R

Deposit is down on the RDX. Shopping around my Si right now as the dealer only offered $18k for it (2018 FC3 with 16k miles & pretty close to flawless...it's worth more than that, even on trade in). I'm hoping to offload it in a week or two. Got the shopping cart loaded with KTuner, Intercooler...
  17. Si vs Type R

For sure there is not a problem with the CTR. Great car, it just didn’t fit me and it was quite apparent when I drove it. I’d feel like I wasted 10k on an upgrade I wasn’t utilizing. Wish the car did fit though, as it is one amazing ride.
  18. Si vs Type R

Nothing wrong, that is an amazing car. For me, it boiled down to what I would use it for. I'd be hauling myself to work daily, and my wife and two kids on the weekends. The backseat worked, but would be tight. The wheels also had me super nervous for potholes, road obstacles, etc. I also felt...
  19. Si vs Type R

Test drove a Type R this weekend. Not even comparable to an Si. That thing hauls. With that said, I'm no longer looking to get one. I'm sure people daily drive it. But, I just couldn't. Enjoy your Si. It's nowhere near the performance of an R. But, it's a much better daily and a lot cheaper to...
  20. What would be a worthy upgrade after the Si?

Can you supercharge vehicles in CA? It's just a base GT with a SC slapped on.
