Winter setup for a Honda sedan. I had them on a 2018 Civic Si, but I sold the car earlier this year so I don’t need them anymore. These tires are better (IMO) in the snow than the Michelin x-Ice or Bridgestone Blizzaks and actually improved ride quality and gas MPG over my summer Michelin Pilot...
So I just had service done on my 2018 Si yesterday and they did the recall work. Today I tried to reflash it with my tune and it definitely didn't like that. Start button not working and car won't start. Is there any way I can get it fixed without having it towed to the dealer??
Just thought I’d share my experience to the conversation in case anyone is wanting to change the shift knob and might be confused about the shift boot/collar. The way I ended up installing mine, I didn’t need to buy a special boot retainer or take off any console pieces - all I needed was a M10...
Yeah, spacers would definitely work, but I already have a set off an older Accord that work on my car and we just decided to mount her winter tires on the rims already on the CR-V since I'm not as worried about the rims getting damaged on her higher profile tire.
I just noticed that in the...
17x7
+45 offset
5x114.3 bolt pattern
Got these as winter rims for my 2018 Si, but they just barely rub against the calipers in the front. I was going to keep them to run winter tires on my wife's CR-V, but same deal - they rub a tiny bit on the calipers.
One has a 1" rash spot and one other...
Absolutely love this mount. Looks so clean! Ended up getting a different cradle with wireless charging and routing the wire behind the trim so it looks completely clean.
Sorry for the basic question, but I've been looking all around and just not sure how they will fit. By the numbers, it looks like they will, but I wanted to see if anyone with more expertise or experience can chime in.
The specs on the Accord rims are:
Size: 17x7.5"
Offset: +55mm
Thanks!
Anyone know if I could run a set of rims of a Subaru WRX? Bolt pattern looks ok, not sure about the centerbore, and I'm not sure if the +.05mm offset would make a noticeable difference, or make it so they conflict with the calipers.
Here are the specs:
Bolt pattern: 5x114.3
Centerbore: 56.1mm...
I heard that 16" rims are a no-go on the newer Si because they won't clear the brake calipers. I've searched around and heard a lot of, "they should fit" comments, but no first-hand experience.
