I have no doubt they painted it. I'm more questioning if they are lying about replacing the entire thing or not. They already lied about the black plastic piece, so I want to see if they are living about this as well.

I bought my car a month ago and it had some bumper damage. The dealer is using a third party to do the repair. They did the paint job for free, and will now be doing the dry sanding for free.

I'm no expert by any means - going through the same thing with my bumper now. I'm taking mine in this week and they said they are going to try to wet sand and polish it. This is supposed to be the remedy for the orange peel. I'm not sure on the price for that.. it would probably be expensive out...

Believe me, I paid $500 for a Zurich coating on it. Unfortunately I was under the impression I had to wait 90 days after the paint job to wax or put anything on the bumper itself. I'm going to ask them to do the coating on the bumper after they wet sand it if possible.

Yeah, it didn't work. I'm taking it to the dealer to get it wet sanded and polished. It needed done anyway. Thanks guys!
