Looks like you're using the lines from your sub as input to the unit. Gotta run the input from the left or right speakers. Just disconnect the factory sub. It's garbage.
Thanks Epoe. I chose to unplug the factory sub altogether.
I would imagine that not using the sub line for input may cut out some very low end (35-50htz) due to crossover. As you said the sound at that low a frequency is subjective to the listener and music listened to. I have listened to...
They tapped into just the L+R rear speakers. I was worried that the input would be screwy because of the factory crossovers, but the sound is actually really nice. The built in crossover on the Rockford Fosgate works perfect.
Thank you for the input. I appreciate it.
They didn't cut any factory wires. It looks like so far the install looks very clean. I took a pic of where they spliced into the rear speakers. It looks like they did a quality job running the 12V and ground and they've been in business for 30 years...
Soooo. I just spent 4 hours at the audio installation place. The day I setup the appointment one of the workers "tested" my speaker. "Looks good" we schedule an appointment. Today. they ran the power and the ground, etc. According to them, the unit was supposed to come with 15 amp fuses and...
I'm not certain. Obviously one could tap into the existing wire like he did and still use the high level inputs AND keep the sub connected which would be great for resale. I don't know though, if one of the adapters you listed would help with that. Sorry mate!
Here's a link to download a pdf of the manual.

The speaker input on the p300 has either RCA inputs or a special harness input that is connected to the speaker wires, I don't think either of your adapters will work. The harness for the...
Ah ha! Yes. Didn't know that was a separate product, thought that the P in P300 was for Punch.
As far as the adapters go, I can't help much. Maybe get both and return 'em if you don't need them? They're inexpensive.
I don't recall what amp I may have been referring to. I reread all the posts just now. But both the Cerwin Vega from the other poster and the Rockford Fosgate p300 I purchased and that you looked at on eBay have built in amplifiers. As far as the wiring goes, I'm not 100% sure but;
The...
The installer gave me two choices. Cut into the factory sub wires and use the "high level" inputs on the sub. This will not require touching the head unit or opening up any of the dash, but you "lose" the factory sub. OR you use a line adaptor out of the head unit and convert the signal to use...
That's the one! The wiring is nice too. The description says that the 12v power line is 8 gauge. But when I opened mine up, it was 4 gauge. Nice bonus.
No need to touch the head unit with the Rockford Fosgate that I linked to in my original reply. You can run the "high level" inputs directly from the stock sub wiring.
I just got my sub in the mail today and took it to my local car audio shop. I want them to do the install as
a.) I have no garage, on street parking, and its snowing all week.
b.) Want a pro install as I'm not super familiar with my car yet. (Only 1200 miles)
They plugged the RF-Punch in to...
Just read most of the 120 reviews of this CV underseat sub on Amazon. Sounds like a pretty good product. Only 2 or 3 D.O.A. returns and most everyone seems to enjoy the sound. Not sure if it would actually fit under one of the seats in an 10th gen Si or not. I am still looking forward to my RF...
