Sorry to hear about your car and glad you are okay. One thing to keep an eye on for your insurance is to see if they use OEM parts. Sometimes thats an option and that can get your costs pretty high too. Best of luck and let us know.
Agreed, they offered me a deal at the time but I had to pass. I am very excited about this though, as I am glad they will be taking this on. I don't mind paying full price but from my understanding, putting these on is rather difficult. I didn't discuss anything with them about seat side impact...
That sounds awesome - I looked into getting something done by them custom as well but couldn't leave my TypeR at the time. That was a few years ago and forgot about it when I got busy. I'd love to set a set now. Are you doing the front and rear? And are they will they be using the measurements...
Sorry, did I miss the preorder for the whole exterior set? I don't see it on the site (I could very well be blind). I see the "Type R FK8 Interior Kit w/ Reverse" which seems to have a discount. I don't see an Exterior Kit w/ brake, reverse, turn, etc. at a kit w/ discount? BTW, that flight tag...
My concern is specifically about brightness. I don't think there should be an issue but I've had friends deal with very particular officers before who will give fix it tickets for anything.
I had the rev match/emissions issue come on. Techs told me that rev match always turns off when it throws a CEL. Running an 18 and had same issue happen twice. Apparently if you clear the code, the car will return to normal. 2nd time required replacement of solenoid valve IIRC.
Thanks, I am not a fan of the baggy look though. Part of the reason why I wanted custom/specific neoprene seats for the CTR. The Dream Automotive ones just don't look like a good fit in all the pics I see. I appreciate it though.
The wear/tear is part of the reason I was looking for Alcantara seat covers. No one has customized ones yet for the CTR. I was going to get my seats measured and patterned out by a company but unfortunately have not had the time and won't for the near future. Anyone else see anything that fits...
Thanks, I would think the same but I would swear I saw before and after pics from someone putting on new wheels that were +45 and they appeared to increase negative camber. I can't find the pictures but apparently it must have been the way the picture was taken. How much camber is there stock?
For those of you that changed to +45 wheels, did that change/add negative camber? Looking at 275/35/18 +45. Still agree with ctrmofo but looking at what it does to camber.
Thanks for the info. Kind of disappointed that Honda hasn't offered another option, as 20in wheels are just not the best option for DD depending on the road conditions. Not as concerned about steering dynamics at this point based on other people's feedback, more the damage that can be incurred...
Thanks for the info. Considering there aren't too many other options at this time besides the NSX wheels you indicated (+45 appears to be the closet from most common manufacturers), running 275/35/18x9.5 (18s for DD) at +45 offset, you get I believe you get a positive scrub radius of 21/32"...
I do like the JAS Motorsport TCR take on the Type R. Photos taken from Super Street below. There are quite a few videos on Youtube from in-car if you are interested in performance. JAS was supposed to have cars in IMSA (haven't seen yet) and PWC (podium finish by Realtime Racing). Realtime's...
