Well I think i will be able to get the bumper off today, might just apply thin ept tape to all contact areas and see if it still does it, glad we at least have the area pin pointed

so it looks like your on the correct track, it's not from the tray, for sure from the area you pointed out, had my tech removed the right tail light assembly and it was more quite but found this body/bumper clip making noise, when the tech held it down the noise pretty much went away, so it is...

Yeah I've sat in back when it's doing it and it seems like it under the rear shelf or under the panel where the seat belt is - like something is rubbing, it's louder if you fold down that rear passenger seat
