Got the under dash USB working with the following steps: 1. Go back to the developer mode 2. Make sure USB 1 is in Host 3. Also turn off debugging USB I reset head unit but it flipped me into a software update mode and I couldn’t figure out how to get out and hard restart would not work...

Mine did the same thing so I cut off that part of the hose, put some silicone-based lube on the coupler and inside of the tubing and it slide to the hub of the coupler with little resistance. The silicone lube I used was garage door lube I had in my tool box. Good luck! Man, looks exactly...
