  1. Car stuck on Software Update

Turn the car off, pull the fuse and walk away. I kept the fuse out for 30 min just to make sure. Worked just fine after that! Good luck!
  2. Remove front fake vents without taking the bumper off

Great pictures and narrative on your struggles! I followed your tutorial only to find out my fingers may be just to short to pull hard enough to pop that top tab. With a little painters tape (similar to removing the bumper) and a plastic trim removal tool on the front edge while pulling the...

  4. Titan7 Track Wheels : Civic Type R FK8

I was going back and forth with 255 vs 265 and was afraid of rubbing with bumps, but since my lower is minimal with the Eibach's 265 may be ok. I'll drive around more and see who much gap there is after the springs settle after mounting the wheels. I'll post more pics on this thread.
  5. Titan7 Track Wheels : Civic Type R FK8

I’m gonna run 255/35/18 with my Titan’s and I’m lowered with Eibach. I’ll keep posted when I mount in the next couple days.
  6. Titan7 Track Wheels : Civic Type R FK8

I'm picking up a set of Titan7 TS-10 with Michelin Sport 4s 255/35/18 tomorrow, and I'm currently on Eibach lowering springs. I hope the 255 will prevent rub since I often have 2 passengers in the back, albeit they are 120lbs combined. I'll keep posted as I put some miles on them.
  7. No CarPlay after hack

I finally got CarPlay to work! I went in to my car settings Bluetooth devices and “delete device”. I then followed instructions on carplaylife.com: 1. Connected USB 2. 8. No CarPlay after hack

I turned debugging back on, changed USB 2 to device and rebooted the system. I lost USB function of my USB 1 again so I went back, turned off debug, made sure USB was on host then rebooted. USB worked again! I tried forgetting car and deleted my phone from the car “phones” and “Bluetooth...

Got the under dash USB working with the following steps: 1. Go back to the developer mode 2. Make sure USB 1 is in Host 3. Also turn off debugging USB I reset head unit but it flipped me into a software update mode and I couldn’t figure out how to get out and hard restart would not work...

  13. No CarPlay after hack

I have the same issue! I reset my head unit, reset my phone and updated the new iOS, and removed my phone from CarPlay and added it back. I plugged my phone into the USB in the center console then plugged it in the under dash USB. The USB started working again but the Inforainment center did...
  14. Injen Releases Cold Air Intake for the Civic Type R!

Mine did the same thing so I cut off that part of the hose, put some silicone-based lube on the coupler and inside of the tubing and it slide to the hub of the coupler with little resistance. The silicone lube I used was garage door lube I had in my tool box. Good luck! Man, looks exactly...
  15. Injen Releases Cold Air Intake for the Civic Type R!

Anyone throwing CEL codes? Also, for those who installed the CAI, is the button part protected from water if it rains given the underbody paneling? Previous CAI on older civics were always too open to drive in the rain and I had to switch out during the winter.
