You should be aiming to get it below invoice price (before TTL)

Which is $27,714. So $27k is a good goal.
Honda Finance is a good thing to mention since they'll get a kickback on top of the deal.
March is a fine...
95 dbA is the limit here in California and to be frank 95 isn't even that loud if you measure it. Just like running around with too dark tints, covered license plates, or other illegal mods. You run the risk of some over-vigilant cop pulling you over.
Taken from Honda's press release. These changes/updates are relevant to you.
- Exterior styling refinements to the 2020 Civic Hatchback lineup include revised styling of the lower bumper fog light housings, which now feature a body-color crossbar. The Honda-signature "wing" grille crossbar is...

Styling looks pretty boring as MK7 but the performance gains sound interesting. If they can update the interior a bit. It might be a contender for me in a few years. Don't like the rubber band tires though.
Option 2 sounds like the best option if she actually needs it. Also depends on the status of your relationship if she will take care of it and you guys will be together for 2 years. Also would help if she would pay a small lease fee each month for next 2 years.

Some areas less of a factor. Where I am regular is $3.70 and premium is $3.90. 20 cent different at about 5% extra cost makes me feel fine with paying the extra to keep the turbocharged engine a little happier with a little better MPG and extra kick, even though premium not required.
Too many dreamers in this thread about Mazdaspeed3. There is zero chance Mazda is bringing it back anytime soon, probably ever. Mazda has shown that they value perceived luxury in terms of styling and interior quality then they do in performance and raw driving dynamics. It is increasingly...
Hard to believe in SoCal.
2019 is a refresh while 2018 is a carryover.
MSRP went up $200
Also Oct 2017-June 2018 for 2018 vs Nov 2018-Feb 2019 is a smaller gap with plenty of 2018's still on lot
Realistically 23k is the best you gonna get. Might take some nagging.
Yea you got head-cracked on those fees man. $31.7k OTD for 2018 Sport Touring is insanely high. I would say they signed you up for all the additional warranties, maintenance, car alarm, lojack and that other junk. I would check the contract terms to see what you paid for.
I had them on my old GTI until I sold it. Should be fine for Southern California. They were good tires, but wear-ed pretty fast. I think 20k miles and was down to 4/32, not an overly aggressive driver either. Last set was a BFGoodrich that cost quite a bit more that lasted 32kish. I rotate my...
$450 is pretty hard to find. Discount tire/costco/other tire shops runs rebate promos every now and then on a 4-set of tires. Keep on the look out for them. Personally for your budget Cooper tires are probably the cheapest I would go...
Paddle shifters on CVT isn't completely useless. If you need to pass somebody quickly just hit the downshift and you get a better gear ratio to accelerate and pass them. Its faster to just tap the paddles then having to shift to S or always driving in S and ruin your fuel economy.

I seriously considered a GT sport. That pano-roof is one of a kind in this class of cars. The reason I didn't pick it was because of lower gas mileage/highway range, didn't like the DCT transmission that Hyundai offers, handling felt worse than a civic, the tacked on tablet infotainment was...
The sole reason is for EPA mileage testing. They can claim a better EPA rating with the feature turned on. I have yet to meet anyone that actually likes and uses the auto start/stop on their cars. Some cars you can't turn it off, and they've had to go out of their way to hack and remove the...
