Define output??
There is color output in Kelvin,as in Temp of light spectrum.
There is actual light output. Lumens, as in how much light is put out by the bulb. Halogen bulbs put out less Lumens than HIDs.
More than likely you will need someone local to answer your questions. As you are in the Southeast Asia your lighting regulations are very different than those of USDM/CANADA, EU, JDM, Australian markets. In all likelihood your regulations might by JDM or Australian spec.
That's great, that's the best place to drive that beast. Where do you track it? Pocono? Love the East track. Glen is a lot of fun too!! Always wanted to Lime Rock but never came to fruition. Will get back to the track some day in the future.
Actually fast idle has to do with emissions and to quickly warm up the catalytic converter. The hooter the catalyst the cleaner the exhaust exiting the car.
Warm up time of anything over a minute is excessive and unnecessary.
Looks nice. I am debating swapping the H8 fogs with yellow bulbs. I know the PIAA’s are top notch quality but can anyone comment of GPThunders or Nokya, both of which are hard to find in genuine quality. Knock offs are plenty.
Let’s be clear when we talk lights. Drivers side and passenger side.
Now, as I recall the drivers side light is supposed to be tilted left and down purposely because of US DOT regulation. This is done to shine light on the double yellow line. Again, I recall reading this somewhere on the...
I learned to do this on my, departed and regretfully sold, 1991 Nissan Sentra SE-R. It was my second car so I didn’t mind messing around. I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing this. It’s cool but not worth the risk. Unless you have the cash to replace syncros.
Bumping this thread. I successfully installed my DDM 35 WATT H11B 4300k kit in my Si today. I had this kit on my 2014 Accord for 3 years and easily expect to get 3 more years out of it in the Si.
For anybody on the fence on HIDs, this is a very easy install. Happy to answer any questions.
