The Type R will do fine for most things. I definitely use and abuse mine. It works well enough for my catering and handyman side gigs. I've hauled plenty of food in the hatch as well as bags of concrete, tile, dirt and a large job site table saw. Get the all weather mats and it makes clean up...
You'll definitely like it. My only advice is you really need to make sure that visor is pushed into the dash all the way or it won't clip in properly and the visor will keep popping up. Gotta ram it home and it'll clip in nice and snug.
My ac seems to work well enough in the Texas heat. It does take a bit of effort for it to cool in slow traffic but it gets quite cold if I'm on open highway for any length of time. I'll keep it at 72 but I have to change it to 78 if I'm on the highway without traffic.
It's only worth doing the install yourself if you plan on also replacing the downpipe at the same time. You literally have to remove the downpipe to install the turbo blanket.
Got mine from Honda of Denton as well. It was back in December 2017 when there was still a ton of hype. Paid $2500 over MSRP but at least it came with tint, illuminated door sills, all weather floor mats, all weather trunk mat and car cover. Over MSRP is never ideal but I didn't have to travel...
My car sounds exactly the same but I couldn't find a pebble. I don't think it would matter that much though since the parking lot at the hospital I work at is filled with gravel.
I had to bring my type r in for warranty work (leaking valve cover gasket) and I was tuned, had Honda hack installed and the rest of my mods on the car and they fixed the valve cover gasket no questions asked. The service advisor was more concerned that I gave them a 5 star rating. I'm not going...
I got mine last year in December at Honda of Denton for MSRP + $2500 in accessories and includes their "lifetime warranty." Accessories included all weather mats, cargo mat, car cover, window tint and illuminated door sills. Had not talked to them at all previously just walked in after seeing...
Just did my first oil change at 6000 miles and I noticed oil on the engine block under the valve cover on the firewall side. I remember checking for this back at the 3000 mile mark and it was clean at that time. I've had a catch can since 500 miles.
So it has been a few weeks since I installed my unresonated Remark Spec III exhaust. I have never had an after market exhaust on any of my cars in the past so I think the exhaust is rather loud. Had some weird rattles and vibrations for about a week but they have gone away. I think the exhaust...
I have a CBP CTR that is ceramic coated and it looks absolutely beautiful for the few minutes that it stays clean. Still collects dust even when it's in the garage. So it literally only stays clean for a few minutes after it gets washed. Used to bother the hell out of me but now I just don't...
So it definitely weighs less than 53lbs. The UPS shipping label had the entire box at 53lbs. So I guess 53lbs minus a large cardboard box, a small cardboard box, hat and a shit ton of bubble wrap.
Audio is best with headphones. Again, I tried my best. This time I found my old Canon Vixia HFR42 video camera. Audio quality is better than my Galaxy S9.
