Surprisingly I had no leaks, i guess the o-ring does a good job at sealing the piston surface from the outside.

The two you unscrew to remove the actual caliper? Then yes, i took them out the rubber housings, sprayed degreaser inside the housings and stuck a rag through them, and “flossed” them, then applied fresh teflon grease inside. I was so desperate i also applied antisieze on the part of the caliper...

Check the pads, they could be worn and/or you could have a sticking caliper… try to determine what wheel it’s coming from

Oh cool, so you shouldn’t have any issues with the leveling system… yeah aligning them might be a pain in the ass but once you get them right you’re good ;)

Just out of curiosity, do you have full LED lights in front? If so, they should be self leveling, how would these new ones behave? Just like any halogen lamp i guess, with the adjustments to be done manually (i see the two white places where to adjust the position)

Hey, I have the same sound, not continuos, just starts and stops randomly, it does follow the car's speed, at lower speeds its lower pitched, as I pick up speed it gets higher pitched, braking or accelerating does not make it go away. It just starts/stops randomly, cannot find a way to make it...

Well, since one of the two filters you can actually clean in a matter of minutes, i guess yes. Ok, there is a bit of an initial expense but imo it might be worth it. Worst case scenario you just spent a fraction of the car’s value for peace of mind.

I’m just wondering at what point the original baffles are too old/dirty to continue performing like they are supposed to considering there is no way to easily perform maintenance. Like an oil filter, sure filters good the firt couple thousand miles and you could probably never change it but at...

so it’s doing what the engine baffles aren’t able to, making it a useful addition. Or am i missing something else?

The baffle was the thing that was making the noise, just welded it to the post and now all is good. just because a company stops R&D on a product does not necessarily mean the project is useless, i could be for a large amount of reasons... (budget cuts, low ROI, etc.)

So if I were to use a catch can and after say 6k miles find a few ml of fluid in it, what would that say? The baffles basically “condense” the oil vapors, but where does the liquid go after that?
