“Global Warming” activists have killed the quality of paint used on production cars through air pollution regulations. Car companies have been forced to use water based paints that have less toxic outgassing.
Car companies that want to use high quality “polluting” paints need to install...
I installed it both ways using an Ultra Racing strut bar on a 2017 Si coupe. Handling felt exactly the same either way.
Lifting the car during install changed the alignment slightly, placing the steering wheel a bit off center. Reinstalled with the car on the ground, and the alignment went...
Telsa received over $3 billion dollars in loans from the DOE, all paid by the taxpayer. Tesla wouldn't exist without this massive injection of public money. Then Tesla received over $250 million in customer "Incentives", all paid by the taxpayer.
Tesla is basically a government funded electric...
That is a evasive method of measuring emissions that car companies use to paint a deceptive picture. If you charge a Tesla with a 1KW diesel generator, do you call that "zero emissions"? Of course not.
As soon as you plug an electric car into the electrical grid to charge it's battery, it is...
Brexit relates to trade agreements between England and the European continent.
What does that have to do with the England and the US? Is Honda’s plan to raise US prices to make up for profit losses due to new European tariffs?
It won’t happen.
There is a reason why you don’t see a Mazda Miata come with a LS3 V8 for $35K, even though it producible and it would be very profitable. Those cars would be wrecked in mass. Increased power comes with higher insurance costs, increased liability for the manufacture, and...
I hate to dig this back up, but ...
According to this guy that builds drag racing engines for a living, he says the motor is broken in within the first six miles. Coming from a guy that constantly tears down and rebuilds engines with the goal of maximum performance, it’s worth looking at. Maybe...
Yes. Tap the front main speakers. That’s the best source working off the stock amp and DSP.
The stock DSP limits frequencies, and cuts the bass as you turn up the volume. This is done to keep the cheap speakers from blowing out.
That’s a battery problem. Replace it.
A bad battery (low voltage) situation will cause your car to throw tons of codes, and generally cause the ECU to go bonkers.
The rear speakers will have a very limited frequency range. I would suggest running the LOC off the front speakers to get a fuller range signal. This will give you a better signal that you can then tune with your LOC and sub.
If you doubt me, run the fader 100% to the rear and listen to the...
Hyundai hired one of the top engineers from BMW, and he designed the Veloster. You can see lots of BMW design elements in the car (ie good design). The three door set up is very cool, and it took balls to put it into production. I'll test drive one when it comes out.
