Well its not necessarily "one at a time". It can connect to both at the same time. For example, i can have my tunerview gauges up while also playing music from my phone on bluetooth. Its just that when i get a call, the gauge display will go away and the phone call stuff will come up instead...

Yeah you pretty much figured it out yourself. Connecting your phone first will put it out of whack sometimes.
