Not going to read the whole thread, but if you use Plexus on there it will hide any minor marring very nicely. Works great on the infotainment screen, cellphone etc. Little expensive but a little goes a long way.

Heat gun and fishing line, then you remove the leftover adhesive on the trunk lid. Pretty simple and cleans up the look, IMO!! You can also use dental floss and a hair dryer, might take a bit longer though.

I figure this is a pretty active thread...anyone looking for factory Civic badging / touring emblem. I pulled them off my civic when it was new. Free (you pay shipping ~$3) I am going to toss them if no one wants em.

Wrap the chrome in vinyl for the more "professional" fix. Or Plastidip it.

Got myself a 2017 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71:) nothing against the Civic but I just couldn't stand not having a truck/4wd. Sold my Tacoma in September, and my only vehicle was the Civic.
