I get a lot of hate for owning a 2018 Civic Si sadly, but I don't let it get to me. Whenever I go to car meets, the losers comment "Better not void your warrantee!" and what I hear most often when I'm with my friends with 80's jdm cars is "What is that civic doing there?". I feel that people...
Hey fellow 10th gen Si owners, noob to turbos here. I'm a huge fan of hearing turbo flutter at car meets and track days. How can I achieve this with the stock turbo? Is it as simple as a BPV mod?
**EDIT: So the only way to get any more noises is an intake and (maybe) a BOV mod. Thx for the replies!
Hey guys, back with another problem I encountered with my 18 Civic Si. One night after a decent run, I noticed whenever I took a left turn over a bump or a sharp/quick turn, it sounded like really loud metal scratching. I also noticed the front left creaks when going over speed bumps, which...
Both me and everyone I have ever talked to agree that the stock wheels are distracting from the rest of the car. So, I bought a set of Enkei PDC wheels and everyone agrees it really completes the Si.
not sure. Just a side note for my plan, I'm designing a 3d printed adapter for the holes in my trunk that were already drilled for the Si spoiler. I'm basically making a small flat plate so I can attach the new spoiler to the old holes in my trunk.
I drag raced against my friend with his tuned 1980 El Camino vs my stock 2018 Civic Si, and I won! We started looking into it, and the reason I won is because A) he has an open dif and needs a limited slip, and B) he needs more than 3 gears. He and I were basically side by side at the start...
I have literally all of the same issues you do. I'm going into Honda tmr to have them fix my TPMS for my new Enkei PDC's, I'll also ask them about the noise over speed bumps.
UPDATE: I went to the dealership, and as it turns out, they have some kind of like road tour thing to show off the Type R and right now it's in Beaverton, Oregon! Cool stuff :D I popped the hood and the paint was on the frame underneath and everything. It's real, no wrap!
Hey everybody, I am upgrading from the stock Si Sedan spoiler and buying the Type-R spoiler off ebay. The only problem is, I have to cover up the old holes left over. If I were to get plugs, what size are the holes? Also, is there any other cheap solution other than plugs?
