Rev match has been on in my car the entire time; both before and after the new transmission. I’m skeptical that it is causing the issue; seems too simple, and I think the grinding would happen more frequently if that were the cause.

I was in +R and it felt perfectly fine. I’ve not tried to get up to that speed in the other drive modes.

Very straight section of interstate; very late at night. I have no doubts this car can peak 170, but you’d need a ton of road as once you get past 160 the acceleration is much slower.
