Hey unfortunately I can't compare since I never used the OEM set. I sold my Si in mid 2022 but over the 3 years that it was on my car they remained in great condition. I never had the peeling issues that @casper had but it can't hurt to swap the installation tape for your own 3M tape. I would...
Here you go, enjoy the read: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/ac-whistle-noise-2000-2700-rpm-the-answer.35052/
People have had mixed luck confronting their dealers about the issue. There was a Canadian TSB put out for it but Honda US will act like it does not exist. I've just learned to...
Hey guys, don't forget you'll have to pay taxes on the sale of your car in most states. Uncle Sammy needs his cut. :drive::patriot::bat:
The only time tax would not apply is if you are trading in the car at the same dealer you are making a purchase from, since it would be considered part of the...
K.Con is knock control - the amount of compensation being applied to prevent knock
K.Cont is knock count. - the number of times a "knock" has been detected. This is usually done through a microphone listening for a spike in dB and false positives are common. (ie. going over a bump, banging on...
I bought this and used a heat gun to bend the plastic backplate to the shape of the dash trim and glued it on. Got it for less than $10 a few years ago, not sure why the price has jumped up to $23 since then.

Living in NYC there were many spots that triggered my radar detector, usually doors and "your speed is..." signs but after configuring mute memory I barely get any false blips. When I'm approaching one of the many known speed trap spots it's nice to know if a cop is there or not beforehand. I do...
I guess I'll bite.
A radar detector is not a replacement for observation and awareness, but observation and awareness won't help when there is a well placed trap. Both are useful, having a radar detector isn't a pass to drive like an idiot with no repercussions.
You also can't be en garde 100%...
Just over a year and a half since I've had these installed. They are definitely worth the price. No fading warping or brittleness to be seen, they still look brand new. Definitely glad I went with these!
The design files are here:

You'd have to find a shop that can engraves metal plates and then provide them with the files.
Totally different. That thing you listed is a piece of junk that just takes the boost and applies a curve to the data before sending it to the senors. Ktuner and Hondata actually flash the ECU firmware to recognize new boost levels, AFR, etc. without trickery. The potential power gains will not...
FYI, there is an official TSB put out now from Honda America to address this + extending the warranty on the AC. I received the notice a few months ago but never took it in since I'm heavily modded. I'll try to find the notice when I get home.
Edit - Here's the notice. It talks about condenser...
I don't have a small scale to weigh them, but these caps are maybe 50% larger 2 times heavier than a normal plastic cap. They aren't doing anything to the balance of your wheels.
I have these in red. The pictures show them with bare metal but when they came they had the plastic insert. Going on 2 years, no corrosion or color fading at all... I left them on through all the snow and salt last winter without touching them and in the sping they screwed right off. I actually...
I'm wondering if this is possible to do with with KTuner, whether in the settings or with a custom tune. Living the modified life is great... except when I wake up your neighbors at 5AM
I've ran into a few harbor grey metallic 10th gen si's but they've all been driven by non enthusiasts.
There is an aegean blue si that always parks around my neighborhood and I always make a point to drive by it and hopefully catch the owner to no avail... Well the other day I'm driving through...
