It's a grind a lot of folks get when shifting from 1st to 2nd especially when shifting fast. A lot of folks also get locked out of 4th on the downshift.
Supposedly some dealerships don't have the proper machinery to remove/install tires on the oem wheels and will scratch up the wheels when replacing the tires.
I went to get my oil changed today and the tech in the pit hollered out saying he wasn't going to do the oil change because all of the bolts from my skid plate were missing. He went on to say he didn't want to be held responsible. They then said the last person to do the oil change probably...
I find it hard to believe there are no other reported cases of this. Even if there were no "official" reported cases Honda ain't stupid. They know their trannies are fucking up.
I doubt you can get some ps4s tires for the $950 I got mine at but you should still be able to get a set several hundred dollars cheaper that what Honda's quote was. Most folks are only getting 10-12k miles out of theirs. The ps4s tires are supposed to get you around 30k miles and are excellent...
Ugh. I'm washing mine today and am already dreading it. I need to wax/clay bar my car too but I'm waiting for a whole free weekend to where I can special coat the wheels too. I'm paranoid of jacking the car up. I'm afraid I'll break a splitter etc.
