Did this noise ever get resolved? I have a 2017 si with almost 9000 miles and have tapping/ticking noise (not injector noise) when the engine is cold. It is really prominent when things settle down to idle (~700 rpm). Once I drive for about twenty minutes and things warm up the sound does go...

The temps here are hitting low teens. With these lower temps my Si is doing the same thing as yours. It's hitting 2100-2200 rpm's before dropping to 1700.

Hi, I have a question regarding cold start rpm's on the '17 Si sedan. When the vehicle is cold started the engine rpm's start around 1700-1900 depending on the outside temp then settle to 1700 for about 30 seconds and then will drop as the engine warms up to settle at the normal 700 rpm's...
