Awesome 18" wheel setup for FK8. Offset is aggressive in appearance but fit with 0 issues. Wheels are good balance of strong and light. Continental extreme contact sports are the best daily tire i have driven on recently. Quiet, good in rain, and still track ready.
Wheels are in perfect...
Time has come to move on. Car is absolutely amazing but in the way of some other goals.

I bought the car last october. Stock wheels and tires were pulled right away are in perfect condition with around 200 miles on them. Oil has been changed...
Couple notes.
RE71R sucks on the first 2 heat cycles. Over a second off the pace easily. I would try to do some parking lot circles with low air pressure to get some heat in them and a full cool down before your first event.
For the rear sway bar. In ideal conditions the Type R is...
No rubbing on the 285's. However I am not convinced yet they are 100% needed. I would really like to try 265 square. Another R was fast last weekend on 255's as well

Finally got mine on the car..... so nice.

You were wheelin that Si! In the ball park of my ND miata from last year. The civic x chassis is just really awesome.
I attended as well and same conclusion... Awesome format and awesome event.
I was in my Type R that is prepped for D-street autox (rear bar and Thermal R&D exhaust) plus...
