  1. Hondanickx Civic FC1

I used the 27won "street" for a couple weeks... totally unbearable 😫 Makes me wonder how people can even start their engine with "race" ... TypeR is just perfect for me.
  2. Hondanickx Civic FC1

Just use the typeR rmm without the insert. Zero vibration and enough rigidity on the gearbox
  3. Brake Info thread

I think they only come out in 18" + The Potenzas are great in terms of traction and grip but cabin noise will be significant. I think the GY Assy 6 will be great. Initial feedback from a friend with a FK7 on 17's is superb.
  4. [Feature Request] Closed loop at WOT on european ECUs

That would be awesome, but I think it will not happen, we will have to live with maf calibration and variations...
  5. European hatch 98 ron Ktuner

You can get away with a starter21 which is OKish for no bolt ons. Then you can get an etune once you have some parts like intake, intercooler and or downpipe.
  6. European hatch 98 ron Ktuner

Hi, 98RON is not bad fuel, it will allow the KControl to move a bit around with a high power tune, but not too dramatic. Your problem with canned tunes is that EUDM models do not use closed loop under WOT, so your AFR will vary and will not be optimal. Phearable was not even selling their stage...
  7. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Mileage Update Post - enlarged hybrid turbo (4th tested... !) Vehicle: 2017 Civic 1.5T Sedan [Elegance - EU - base model] Total tuned time: 43 months Total tuned mileage: 95.000km (~58.000 miles) Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2 Tunes used: KTuner Starter 21 with calibrated MAF (~ 1...
  8. A/C System Fail in European Cars

Hi Nick, here's the reference from Civinfo with the service bulletin details : 10G Aircon Whistle Recall | 2006+ Honda Civic Forum (civinfo.com) hope it helps!
  9. Most whp on stock block non-si

No it's 24ish max for both, but not really until 4000rpm or so, to keep torque under control. I'm still on stock clutch at 85k km :)
  10. Most whp on stock block non-si

24ish psi max boost on the TD03 Mine was made on a local workshop. You can find parts by mamba on eBay, and I know @CAPTS in Malaysia may be able to source / fabricate one for you.
  11. Something went BOOM (I think turbo (W1)) DATALOG

It is possible that it just overshoots to 28 briefly during spool and settles to 26 as the rpms rise... Maybe you have a log from your normal drives you could share...
  12. Most whp on stock block non-si

W2 without ability to rev well past 7000rpm is totally not worth it. Here's my dyno plots with TD03 sized hybrid (not MHI) vs W1 Top end power output is comparable but the W1 is considerably lazier between 2800-3200rpm which is quite noticeable (but still driveable), although it produces the...
  13. Most whp on stock block non-si

Non Si's can push around 270whp on pump gas and a bit over 300whp on ethanol depending on the turbo with a proper tune.
  14. Official RV6 R365 turbo thread

You should be able to upload a file if you zip it first. Just saying, in case you need to at some point!
  15. Honda CR-V AWD 1.5T RW2 EUDM

If a rod is bent its usually better to repair stuff before it punches its way through your block lol. I would presume that your mech can invoke warranty process to investigate the strange sound anyway. W1 actually has a V2, with a 9blade hot side that reduces back pressure (and therefore heat)...
  16. Anyone running ktuner in europe?

You can play a bit with Starter21 with adjusted top end MAF scale (preset in KTuner) and Disable Artificial Knock rise to start with. TSP1 was jerky at low rpm on 1st and 2nd, and has been for other users as well. For others it has been ok (or they don't mind lol :) )
  17. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Mileage Update Post - also with a custom DP/FP combo now ... Vehicle: 2017 Civic 1.5T Sedan [Elegance - EU - base model] Total tuned time: 37 months Total tuned mileage: 80.000km (~48.000 miles) Tuning device(s) used: KTuner V1.2 Tunes used: KTuner Starter 21 with calibrated MAF (~ 1...
  18. Honda CR-V AWD 1.5T RW2 EUDM

Have you made any change (eg wheels/tires or pressure) that can justify the ~13hp difference in drivetrain losses between the runs?
  19. Honda CR-V AWD 1.5T RW2 EUDM

Those look amazing Nick! Can't wait to see them on the CRV man :) I went the Megane 3 RS way for the Civic after I absolutely fried my brakes in Megara lol
  20. Anyone with a bigger turbo upgrade in Europe?

Here's the plot in full size. Dashed is a "conservative" tune that runs consistently at 0.49KC on my RON100 pump gas even after many back to back dyno pulls and 100-200km/h street pulls. Solid is a crunchy tune that pushes KC and may not be a good idea to run daily. The engine is knock limited...
