Well for one they make products for many,different cars and are continuously developing and improving products for all applications so they are not working on the CTR intercooler non stop as the only priority. Also they have months of testing and other data to make sure they repease a product...

What nonsense are you talking about, you dont have to remove the downpipe or front pipe to install the mount, only the plastic under tray. I have done 4 on Type-R, and 2 on Si.....dont always listen to what you read on the net

He was referring to the CTR scoop. Honda wanted to go back to a non scooped hood after real world testing but already had manufacturing dies made for the hood, amd since the standard civic hoods wouldnt work, they kept the scoop,to save some money

No, the current USR cooler does not fit with the Mishimoto intercooler but a V2 side Mount oil cooler is in the works and testing has gone well.
