i know many wont believe it, but this honestly will restrict airflow to the intercooler and radiator. I build road race cars for a living. We start with small stainless grill mesh and work our way up on the hottest days looking for the smallest to block debris but also allow enough airflow to...
Just gonna leave this here for the track guys :headbang:

Well for one they make products for many, different cars and are continuously developing and improving products for all applications so they are not working on the CTR intercooler non stop as the only priority. Also they have months of testing and other data to make sure they repease a product...
Radiator won't help much, lengthens the time to heat soak a little, but far from enough to warrant the cost, but doesnt lower temperature overall. Grill, turbo blanket, heat wrap on DP and FP, gold foil,on inlet pipe and coolant pipes, and intercooler to drop IAT are biggest simple mods to...
Yes, dual tip does as well, but either one is easy to add 3" pipe and flange to get rid of the bottleneck, I have done it. But still, why manufacture it like that in the first place.
I have run at Charlotte Roval, any decent pace, over 80 is enough, on an oval with decent banking you have to turn stability completely off. Since the car uses wheel speed sensors to measure tire rollout to know changes in pressure, it presents a problem on decent banking. The car sees varying...
dont be forcefully with it or man handle it, be direct but smooth and quick. The shifting good when you dont pretend to be a mustang driver that is angry at the world. Practice practice, light grip for shifts into odd gears and just pull it back with a couple fingers for most even gears. Here...
What nonsense are you talking about, you dont have to remove the downpipe or front pipe to install the mount, only the plastic under tray. I have done 4 on Type-R, and 2 on Si.....dont always listen to what you read on the net
He was referring to the CTR scoop. Honda wanted to go back to a non scooped hood after real world testing but already had manufacturing dies made for the hood, amd since the standard civic hoods wouldnt work, they kept the scoop,to save some money
this guy is doing a video for a retailer, or is the retailer but doesnt know it connects to the front pipe, not the downpipe? Lol. Also that is a bottleneck at the front pipe, it does allow more gasket to seal to stock front pipe but with an aftermarket full 3" front pipe you are wasting flow...
someone else will have to handle that, i am more worried about functional as removing heat from the engine bay rather than just scooping up more useless air
for those not on Facebook, this was shared today by United Speed Racing......
United Speed Racing (USR) is proud to publicly announce that we have been working with Mishimoto for a couple of months now, putting their prototype intercooler through rigorous testing on the track. Many have noticed...
