I'm assuming this car has a clutch delay valve like pretty much every other modern manual trans I'm aware of. You could look into deleting it, which may help. Just google CDV delete. Can increase the chance of damaging the transmission by accident though.

I think their civic lineup is well full, considering there are still 3 more configurations coming (Si sedan, Si coupe, and type-r). It's still kind of odd to me that the lineup is going to be as big as it is, but with a car that has proven to sell in high volumes year after year, I guess Honda...
