  1. Towed to Honda

They didn't say what the cause could be. I did get the updated injectors though. The condenser does look new...that's just a 10th gen crap issue.
  2. Towed to Honda

Picked up the civic yesterday. New injectors. New plug (prob taken out by the injector). New compressor seals. New condenser. Recharge. I didn't have an issue with the a/c other than it took awhile to cool the car off. It was cold though 🤷‍♂️. They noted it was blowing warm 🤔
  3. Towed to Honda

wow...the injectors are only like 500 bucks.
  4. Towed to Honda

They discontinued the old injectors and have an updated version now.

  6. Towed to Honda

 17 Sport Hatch, 30k, zero mods, mostly a diet of Shell 89. 1st drive after winter. Doing about 85 after passing a car and then...limp mode. Check engine, abs, TC, and one other idiot light. I have 6 months left on the 7yr Honda care. Got a call a few hours later that they will...
  7. Big 3 Upgrade Necessary?

Old thread, but here's what I have. 2k watts of ARC Audio class d power. I had an Alpine PDX V9 (100x4 + 500x1) and lights would dim when driving. Tweets, 3" mids, 6.5 midbass, 8" sub, and 18" sub. Now...I added a XS Power battery and 12 headway lithium cells. Zero dimming at idle or driving...
  8. Fuel System Cleaning on 2019 Honda Civic Sport

Using Techron too often can actually leave deposits..IF you consistently use top tier fuels. The engineer didnt specify how much was too much.
  9. Sound dampening

You dont want to spend the $$ at a shop. It will cost a ton in labor. Spend the $$ on good product if you do it. It's not bad. Just use your head and YouTube. My 17 hatch was pretty easy other than the hatch side panels. There are a cpl tricky panel pins (until you know how they work) in the...
  10. Issue After Installing D2 Lowering Spring on my 2018 Sport Touring

Are you sure the nut for the top hats are fully seated? Just an idea.
  11. Time to silence to roof!

Its going to be huge. Already an odd quietness when putting up thinsulate. Mat doesnt really block sound. Its reducing the resonance which lowers the noise floor. The roof is a massive 'flat' area that will benefit greatly. Best for the floor is lead. Its blocks sound. I have that in my other...
  12. Time to silence to roof!

Little progress. The sh400l thinsulate gets attached to the roof. Should have it together later today. Time for a bike ride.
  13. Time to silence to roof!

I would think you need a crazy temp swing to get condensation. You’re right about the plastic. If you fully sound dampen the doors then you can remove the vapor barrier. You do want to try to contour the material to the panel for most effectiveness.
  14. Time to silence to roof!

I was able to shimmy it out the hatch. Theres a vid for the sedan and here gets it out the rear drivers door. Insulation/moisture concerns pertaining to the products I'm using?
  15. Time to silence to roof!

Getting there. Had some mother day stuff to do.
  16. Time to silence to roof!

I'm sure you noticed an improvement. Being light wasnt really a concern. I'll prob add 10 lbs or so. I wanted maximum resonance control.
  17. Time to silence to roof!

Did a buddies cruze yesterday. The honda will benefit even more. Honda is thin af. The best dampener going up....Resonix CLD. Going to add a layer of thinsulate as well.
  18. I wasnt going to do it....but...

Well, the changes and the tune from my buddy worked out fantastic at its debut. Now tryin to get the headliner down to dampen it.
  19. Fitting Sylvania Silverstar Ultra H11 bulbs

I just did the german H9s. Had to dremel out the rib inside and trim 1 metal tab a little. A good improvement. H9 with modified tab on the left.
  20. Finally....1st comp!

Winter of 21 I built the hatch, pillars, and sail panels. The sound wasnt what I was looking for, so I changed it up over this past winter. Full glass pods and tweets in pillars. Between my install and my incredible tuner (he does remote tunes as well) the little Honda did well. Acrylic...
