Just got in myself. Had some juicy steaks and some brats on the grill. Then had a good campfire in the backyard to end the day. Nothing better then a warm wisconsin night!
There isnt anything long term gained other then you feeling the car shift better. If you feel the car shifts fine as is now. Then dont worry about it. But if you feel the crunchy feeling most people on this thread are talking about then getting a better oil in the gearbox is gonna help
Anyone have any comparison to the AcDelco synchromesh? I heard that was the way to go for swapping out trans fluid in the car. Did amsoil beat them out?
Sure am! https://www.facebook.com/groups/849819585212265/ Just send a invite and me or another admin will get you in. Sucks about your trans already taking a crap on ya.
I know there was a thread her before about what oil people liked to use for the MTF oil change. I am thinking of doing one with my next oil change just because I agree with a lot of people saying the honda oil is trash. What are people using for oil. Thanks!
What kind of amsoil synchromesh did you choose? The one that i saw for sale said that it wasnt designed for LSD manual trans. I ran redline in my 4th gen eclipse and i would disagree that its not a good oil. those shifts were smooth as butter after i replaced it with redline.
