I use both google maps and Waze in Android Auto on my 2016 Civic EXL with navigation. The volume for Google Maps has different volumes controls for maps and music so you can set the maps to a lower level than music. It doesn't matter if I'm streaming Spotify or Pandora. When I use Waze it...
I have the new Goodyear Comfort Touring and it makes a little difference but not as much as I hoped for in reference to road noise. Ride quality has improved. I don't know if I need to get a few miles on them or if that will make any difference in road noise.
My old Firestone's had 30k on them and seemed loud to me so I purchased new Goodyear Comfort Turing tires. Maybe a little more quite than the Firestone's but not by much. Ride is smoother but I'm a little disappointed as they didn't make that much difference in road noise.
I have 30,500 miles on my 2016 Civic EX-L and to me the tire noise is very loud. I drove this car for about 150 miles for a day before I decided to buy it and don't remember it being near this loud. I just ordered a set of Goodyear Comfort Touring tires. I sure hope they make a difference...
I was the first person that started another thread reporting this problem. I think it would be hard for someone that doesn't spend some time in the car to notice it. It drove me crazy before the fix came out. That said when the fix came out I took my car into the dealer and no questions asked...
I started this thread and mine was updated early summer. Its been butter smooth every since. They also replaced the head unit on the display. Everything has been working great and no problems with the infotainment system. I'm very happy with this car! I will have 20K on it before weeks out.
My first oil change was around 9,000 miles. I was at 15% yet so I could have put on my miles. One thing I noticed is that the engine is more quite now. As compared to before the oil change the engine was more growly like it was struggling more. I don't think I will be putting on that many...
Will I'm happy to say that after getting the update done and putting over 90 miles on my car to its does seem much better. I don't feel the up/down surging like before. If it stays the way it felt today I will be happy. After being 1st to report the surging issue in another thread I feel much...
Well I picked my car up from the dealer and the oil was changed, tires rotated and the update was applied. Finally. They weren't sure why it didn't take the 1st time. I haven't had a chance to test it yet.
Mine at the dealer now for its first oil change and tire rotation and hopefully they can apply this update this time. They said they updated another car for the surging issue.
Not just shopping carts but other cars. People seem to have a herd mentality that cars need to park\graze together. I park 30 spots out and come back out and three other cars are parked around me. I'm thinking WTF... It's always some other idiot that damages you car.
Well bad news for me as it seems my car already has this version of software. No update required I'm told. Strange a service bulletin went out now but my car was purchased back in December. I started the CVC surging thread back in December also. I talked to the person who actually serviced...
I'm at the dealer right now waiting for my car to get updated. I hope everything goes OK and this takes care of the issue. I should now within about 30 minutes.
