Armor All Cleaning wipes. The only product I use from them. No residue, no shine. Wipe a couple times, and wipe again with a clean rag to even out application. Looks new.
Just a guess, but it would make sense that the factory oil used when new from the dealer would have no additives, or detergents to allow the rings to seat. Similar to the recommendation of not using synthetic oil on a fresh rebuild as it prevent seating of the rings.
I am only at about a 10% failure rate. I have tried both fobs with a single key with no change. Both fobs with no keys, no change, and both fobs with three keys, no change.
I have not dug under the dash, but have any of you seen the control module? Does it have an external wire...
I have a house to sell before I get serious. A buddy works back east at Scott Honda of West Chester. He can ship, add options, and still beat the price by thousands.
I'm gonna hit up a couple OR dealers to see what they are asking as well...

I spoke to 2 dealers at MM 40%, and both emphasized not to change it before 15%. In fact one of them refused to do the change stating if I was dead set on changing it I would need to do it myself, or an oil change place.
I have the same issue. It is not the remote as I have swapped between them. Sometimes would happen 3-5 times in a day, then go weeks without fail.
Talked to my dealer, and got the swap remotes/battery/never heard of the issue.
