  1. Valuation fair for 2017 Civic CTR ?

Congrats on your trade. Yeah. I think in New England where AWD is the rule, I think $39500 for my 2017 felt like a fair offer.
  2. Valuation fair for 2017 Civic CTR ?

Just to close out the thread. The highest offer I got from any online trade in sites was from CarGurus at $38100. But I posted on AutoTrader as well for $49 listing and I received an offer from a local dealer for $39,500 and sold it on the spot. Just reflecting the demand for the car the dealer...
  3. Valuation fair for 2017 Civic CTR ?

Lot of good discussions. I struggled with this decision as well but wanted to share more of my situation that is causing me to arrive at the decision of selling the CTR: 1. Firstly love the CTR. Every time I drive, the drive feels special. 2. This is our third car. We had a Jeep Wrangler...
  4. Valuation fair for 2017 Civic CTR ?

Thanks. Yep these services seem to fluctuate quite a bit. My carvana valuation has been anywhere between 37k to 32k.
  5. Valuation fair for 2017 Civic CTR ?

Thanks. I am happy with the price as basically I got to drive the car for free for 4 years and what a wonderful car it is. Every time I drive it puts a smile on me. But seeing some posts where they were asking 15k dealer adjustments for a regular Civic, thought will check in with the experts on...
  6. Valuation fair for 2017 Civic CTR ?

Thank you for the info. Appreciate you entering the info to get the carvana quote.
  7. Valuation fair for 2017 Civic CTR ?

Hi I have a 2017 CTR Championship White in MA, with around 22500 miles. I have to very reluctantly sell it as we need to make space for my son who just got his license and needs a car to drive to school. I have valued at Carvana, Vroom, Cargurus etc. The highest offer I have is $38,100. In fact...
  8. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

I just had Kumho Ecsta 4X II 245-35-20 all seasons installed for my R. Prelim impressions is the car handles pot holes better but you can feel that you are riding high and car doesn’t feel as firmly planted as before. But good compromise for northeast, BJs team did great and they paid lot of...
  9. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

hi I am planning to swap my oem tires with 245x35x20 with conti dws. I can order them from tire rack. Do I have to look for a shop or dealer with special equipment to handle the oem wheels or can I go to any tire chain like Town Fair Tire or NTB. Will they cause any damage to the wheels? Thx...
  10. What did you do to your Type R today?

Actually the cap-less fueling has been in use for at least 6+ years. Ford I believe adopted it much faster than Honda/Toyota. My 2013 Lincoln MKZ came with it. I used to see full service gas stations occasionally fumble and look for the cap in 2013 but now a days it is very common.
  11. Honda Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Coverage for the CTR

I had posted earlier but the contact info and per terms of Deluxe plan there is no occurrence limit. Hope that helps. Luckily I have not had to use it yet. I am at 5k miles and plan to get 255x35x20 after the factory tires wear out. Troy Dietrich Factory Discount Warranty Toyota & Ford of...
  12. What did you do to your Type R today?

I was hoping that solved the issue but the warning came back and again two tires had dropped psi. For sure a slow leak in the tires. Any advice on do the local tire shops like Town Fair tire are ok to fix the leaks or should I only go to the dealer due to the special wheels/tires on this car...
  13. What did you do to your Type R today?

I took my car to the air pump and found one of the tires has 30 PSI (driver side rear) and others were ranging from 31-34 PSI. I adjusted the front to 34psi and rear to 33psi and then reset TPMS so far so good. My hypothesis why the warning came on is even at small pressure difference if you...
  14. What did you do to your Type R today?

But mine the tire does show low. Maybe I fill it up to in the AM to recommended psi and see if it stays. But most likely a nail or something like that with a slow leak.
  15. What did you do to your Type R today?

I got the dreaded low tire pressure today. I carefully drove home but not sure what do do next. Not sure if the local tire shop can handle these wheels. Should I tow it to a dealership? I do have the tire wheel warranty. Thanks in advance any experiences you have had.
  16. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

I was thinking 245/35/20 as I am interested in all Ultra High Performance All Seasons and they don't seem to be available in 30 low profile tires either at 245 or 255 width.
  17. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

Looks great. I have CW but Blue looks awesome. I will go down the same route 255x35x20 once my stock tires wear out at 10k miles. Thanks for posting the pics and the quick report on not having any issues.
  18. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

That's great to hear. Hopefully you have a great experience with the tires. Let us know if any rubbing issues or anything else on ride quality that you notice.
  19. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

Thanks. Just to let you know I had a really bad experience with Tirerack closeout tires. I believe the reason they do that is because they have sat on the shelf for several years. I bought a set of four and all four of them exploded due to pot holes and I had to replace all with new ones at...
  20. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

That will be great. What brand tires did you get?
