Because of a foot surgery, I did not drive much in the past months. Actually, I did not drive at all since Feb07-2024. I just drove my car and checked MM, it says my oil life is 70% remaining.
Since my oil change on Nov28-2023, I drove only 151 miles. Is it normal that the oil life is...
Me too. I was disappointed that they cut the Civic Coupe.
I have high hope for the new Prelude, hope they make it semi-sporty like the SI.
BTW. I wonder about the direction of Honda. They cut Honda coupe, Civic coupe and no Integra coupe but they will release a Prelude coupe.
Overall my 2018 SI coupe is great.
I am concerned about the AC. So far, I have had 3 condensers, 1 compressor, 1 evaporator, 1 suction pipe. When I took the SI out of storage (foot surgery), I would go in to replace the compressor shaft seal, maybe fuel pump if they have the parts.
I am...
I always find the seat belt cover (bottom) looks terrible; all bent and twisted.
I took Uber today and it was a new Civic Sport (11th Gen). I found seat belt in 11th Gen is a lot better, looks better and functional. Picture attached.
Is there any way to retrofit this to our 10th Gen?

My letter says Honda Canada expects to have parts available late in the summer of 2024.
Another recall is to replace the compressor shaft seal which they did not have parts back in Oct-2023.
I am OK to wait because my car is in SI is in storage now and for another 2 months because of a foot...
Exactly, since the car will stay inside my garage and I will stay home for the whole duration, there is no point to keep the Comprehensive.
I had this discussion with my insurance and in the minimum, I have to keep the Comprehensive.
Yes, the temperature here dropped to -20C (-4F) last week...
I did suspend my auto insurance when I did the 1st surgery back in March-2023. It did save me some money.
Apparently, I had to keep at least “Fire and Thief” or otherwise cancelled the whole insurance.
I mentioned Genius5 because i Sent NOCO an email and they recommended Genius5.
I do have a battery charger and reconditioner (Canadian Tire). Too bad it does not do trickle-charge.
I compared Genius5 and Genius10. Charging Current is 5A vs 10A. Battery Capacity is 120Ah vs 230A. Output Power is 75W vs 150W.
How important are these figures to a personal sedan? Are these additional “power“ overkill for my purpose?
Also, Genius10 supports 12V Supply Mode and 6V AGM...
I was looking around and I have to choose Charging Current (1A, 2A, 5A), Battery Capacity (30ah, 40ah 120ah) and Output Power (15W, 30W, 75W).
Please help.
Because of a foot surgery, I will not be driving my car for 2-2.5 months. The car will be kept inside my garage the whole time. I have to decide if I should disconnect or trickle-charge the battery.
I have a car charger but i am not sure if it does trickle-charge. Can you recommend a...
