The calipers are lighter but the larger discs are heavier. I do not have any exact weight comparison information on hand. No issues with the factory electronics.

All of these kits are compatible with the non-R hatchback models. Your biggest differences are going to be under heavy braking conditions, such as autocross, track events, or very aggressive braking on the street.
Expect it to be much richer (lower number) under wide open throttle conditions. While at WOT and under boost the factory tables are going to target an AFR around 10.9:1.

The diameter is fine, you will likely need a small spacer to clear the spokes.

I'd be careful with that. While you may not need the level of performance offered by the OEM Type R pads, it is very unlikely you are going to find something that has the same level of performance without the noise and dust.
