You haven't lived in a big area have you? In the bay area that 3 hour drive changes your living costs from a couple million dollars to $500,000. And while you could get a job closer, it also would pay half as much or not include as many benefits.

I dont think the worrying for the cvt comes from honda, it comes from the fact people want to tune but are worried for the cvt.

Where did you see that the EX-T has the larger Accord CVT? Was it the sedan and coups or hatchback?

I've heard this a lot too, personally I just try to go off the manual, they did build the car so they must have some reason for it.
