On my my 4th set of PS track days now, but bad experience on my 3rd set. It was practically brand new but the fronts were totally gone in 2 15 minutes sessions. The rears are fine. I just put on another new set of PS rotors and track days pads again, will see how it goes next lapping day. If...
How's the power stop track day pads compare to the xp8? I've been running the powerstop for the last 2 years with motul 5.1. No brake fade and good braking power, but pads down from fresh to 20% in 2 track days. Wondering if the xp8 have better braking power vs the powerstop
Hi all, i have a question about the Si Sport mode, if i get aftermarket coilovers, will that totally disable the sport mode or can i still get the option to take advantage of having better throttle response and the more weighted steering feel ?
Hi all, Im about to purchase aftermarket coilovers for my Si, but have some questions (I tried search but didnt find a clear answer). The sport mode improves throttle response and more weighted steering, however if i get aftermarket coilovers, can i still turn on the sport mode to take...
If you check out the 2022 veloster n reviews it's up there with the type r, my friend got a 2022 manual n and it's doing wonders on track with just camber plate, and it's just on stock tires.
I use powerstop track day rotors and pads on my 17 si for both track and autox, it's much better than stock and it's cheap. Pros, cheap, good bite, no fading. Cons, lots of dust, a bit noisy, don't last long ( 3 lapping days max)
I use the powerstop track day pads and rotors good braking power and no fade on track, they have good bite for autox as well. Down side they wear out very fast, they last 2 lapping days max for me (about 60 hot laps). They are squeaky and they are alot of dust. But they are cheap
I think the changes is on the new re71rs tire which at this time is only available in asia (maybe europe?) No news on it coming to NA at this time. Some reviews saying its 2% better lap time and 5% better longivity. Also im on my 3rd set of re71r, didnt felt any difference
Noting i can think of, just drive like as before. On stock suspension, take out the front manufacturing guild bolt to make maximum negative camber (give you about additional -0.4 neg camber) that should give you better grip, and not wear out the outside of tires as quickly as before
