I don't mean gurgles. I mean pops and cracks. I'm aware of the sounds these engines make with no exhausts and I'm wanting more. I'll post a video of my wants in a sec
Bump!! Its either pulling time or adding time under deceleration. I cant remember right of the top of my head. May have dabble with it a little in a minute.
The boost is limited by power. Power target, not boost target. Some days you will see 17 psi and some days you may see 20 psi. Get a tuner and it becomes boost target.
Nice! I was hoping there would be an option for factory normal mode/19.5 or 23 one day. Be nice to flash that before an interstate trip, flip to sport mode for some more fun.
I think it's too early to tell if there will be any long term effects. But I honestly think even with higher boost pressures, these little motors are more efficient than stock tunes.
I think I recall Vit saying knock is hard to guage in these motors. As long as you stay with the base tunes/Vit Stage 1 you'll be ok. They are still pretty conservative.
I think he means the cooling fans for the radiator. I doubt the HVAC fan would effect any air flow under the hood but the cooling fans certainly would.
Yeah just because you have the parameters available to monitor doesn't mean they NEED to be monitored. Its just like some vehicles come from the factory with more gauges than others. Doesn't mean you NEED to monitor your transmission temps if you vehicle comes equipped with that gauge. To me...
I guess you guys have not heard about the v1.2. You can monitor all the things the v2 monitors via Bluetooth with the TunerView app. You can even store and flash up to 5 tunes just like the v2. No wires, more layouts for gauges... v1.2 was a no brainer for me.
I feel like the 19/25 tune is more crisp. Before I tuned I felt myself shifting at 4500 where as now I comfortably shift at 3k max with casual driving. The power comes on so quick now. The 19/23 tune is still amazing but the Stage 1 19/25 tune feels more refined, to me anyways. I only went into...
