Thanks! I’ve been loving it the past two days I’ve had it. The Stinger is a BEAST. I just got it tinted today (5% tears, 20% front), and after I recuperate a bit I think next will be the Borla exhaust and a CAI system
The day has come where I pass the Civic on. Got a Stinger GT2 today. Thanks for the memories over the past five years, CivicX! I will still check up once in a while :)
From what I remember, removing clips/panels around the c-pillar were the worst parts of it. I used a mallet with a towel wrapped around it as to not scratch/break anything. At that time I bought a 2006 Civic coupe LED third brake and had to sawzall some surrounding areas of the brake light...
I installed an OEM LED third brake in my sedan. It always bugged me that they made the running lights LED but couldn't even give us an LED third brake. Taking off the seats wasn't too bad, actually. Process in total took me around an hour, but that's because I got lazy lol.
Right now I'm at about $160/mo for full insurance. When I first got my Civic back in 2017 I was originally paying $270/mo, that's cus I had like two points on my record and was 20 when I bought it brand new. I still feel like $160 is a bit high lol, even though I got new insurance when my record...
Love the way it looks, but god why does every aftermarket housing have to have sequential turn signals? Cheapens the whole look up for me. Nothing beats a solid turn IMO.
I imagine the body portion of the tail light would fit, but not the part that is for the trunk/hatch since those are different between all body styles.
Love my Civic, but sometime next year I'm planning to trade in for a Stinger. My dream car, I don't care that it's a Kia lol. Hopefully in Spring as a graduation present for myself.
Saw one in the flesh the other weekend in a parking lot and it looks even more boring IRL. Didn't think that was possible. I wanted to like the design when I saw it in person but nope, I just ended up hating it even more. Lmao
When driving my aunt's BMW, it was easy to start driving fast (as is the case with our 10th gens, especially if you have the 1.5T or 2.0T). When reaching 85 mph it would chime an alarm sound so that you slow down. I thought it was helpful, actually.
Tried using tire paint for the first time today. Masking all the areas was a bitch lmao. But I like how it looks so far. Let’s see how long it’ll hold up, I love me a black shiny tire lmao.
