There are no packages currently waiting for processing and nobody within the last two weeks that submitted an Arizona return address, as your profile would suggest.
Yes, PCM, ECM, ECU are all terms for the engine control unit. If that was replaced without unlocking a unit the unit is still locked to the old one. We've been scammed several times. We no longer accept paypal or CC for a service we have no obligation to offer at all. It's not worth the trouble...
We help where we can when people are stuck, but would prefer this stops, so yes. If you're inquiring whether to buy one that's locked, simply don't. The original owner should be inquiring and getting it taken care of before selling it properly - unlocked.
You have the wrong engine if you're looking for larger gains from an included base tune. Getting rid of that dip really does make the biggest change, though.
Asking whether an ECU is rare isn't really our place to answer, as stated in email. We don't offer metrics on customer data and that's not something general support would have access to.
You were told that your ECU was fully supported and to contact the aftermarket companies about their...
I imagine if you're this dead set on integrating with something, like the open source protocol stuff out there, switching maps via the buttons when you need to wouldn't be all that big of a deal. Better yet, set your default tune 1 to what you want to run most of the time.
If you're looking for a device with a public protocol to use for OBD2 communication there's plenty of devices out there that will suffice. Ours, however, is not designed or developed that way and we'd appreciate if you don't reverse engineer our hard work. Thanks!
The software asking you to register the device on the computer is one of the first steps in the process of getting connected. Perhaps a refresher on the Tutorial Video available in the help section would be good.
We did discuss through some emails back and forth this morning. For reference to anyone searching he needs to reconnect to the software to make sure it has the factory tune loaded on the device in case he cleared tunes, then reconnect to the vehicle with key on while using a charger on the...
Knock control would never move up or down in an instant fashion without an error. A data fluke shouldn't take a minute to work itself out, but you can always reset the unit for a fresh stream if questionable.
If anyone does have a VSS reading that is inaccurate currently due to hardware changes please email us. We're ready for testing. We'll need you to datalog.
You only need internet to create an account and lock the unit within the software. If you're looking to make changes open a starter tune instead of the stage tunes.
Nobody was upset about anything here, but we'll certainly correct direct quotes that are misinformative or taken out of context. Regarding the feature, though, being added to a queue of things to do does not mean it is bumped to the first thing on the list. It'll still get looked at even if you...
As I mentioned in my reply, you asked a specific question and I gave you a specific answer. There's nothing left to interpretation.
The question asked was if there was a timeline to know for sure. The reply was "There's not". The answer is about a "timeline to know for sure". "There's not" a...
This is what happens when people post things out of context. The question asked was if there was a timeline to know for sure. The reply was "There's not". I don't know how that turns into a "final answer" about the feature, but that's not the context of the question or answer.
