Just to be frank here. If you have to debate about it, you will just come to regret it more later.
Type-R is a great car, but if you don't track or drive too hard with it.. it is just a very uncomfortable, loud car.
That is a mix bag, I have paid a grand for transportation and they busted my tail light. It was a very old car so I didn't care much.
I would personally fly to the destination and drive it, it is a new car. Why not.
Go through online quotes first, use online services such as trucar or carsdirect. I also got a great quote through Costco affiliated dealership which I was able to give to a local dealer and they matched immediately. It doesn't hurt to mass email all of the dealers around your area as well...
Accord if you need to transport 4-5 people (family) constantly. If you just need to move 1-3 people, civic would be just fine. It is a tight fit getting 5 people into my civic, but with the accord it is pretty comfortable.
Personally.. I don't think you bought the non turbo EX for performance reasons in the first place. I wouldn't give up the depreciation cost for 30 some more hp. To me it is an A to B destination car and it is perfect for that.
I would consider a slightly used ILX or TSX (you can get them for...
Ferrari is a whole different beast altogether. Most people buy them for prestige reasons, and their marketing says so as well. These are exotics. Most people buy a LV purse to use them to show wealth, not because they use it to carry groceries.
As car enthusiasts we always like to think most people are into cars and is willing to buy performance oriented cars. But people don't. Most people if you ask them honestly, will not spend 40k on a Civic, but will spend 40k on a BMW. Because it is a BMW and they don't track or race but enjoy...
I don't disagree, but first it is illegal to push beyond a certain limit on public roads. If you drive in any sort of sane manner you are understating severely in what the type R can do.
Second I don't doubt your driving skills, but for most drivers you will not be able to extract nearly the...
Will not be getting one, type-r is a track car and I barely go to the track these days. I am showing my age but it will be like any type-r, loud, uncomfortable and you need to squeeze every bit out of that engine to go fast.
I know there is a lot of fascination in the US for the R because it...
If you don't track Type-R is pointless, not to mention the huge financial hit you will take on the trade in or just giving it up in general. Type-R is slower in quarter mile and the suspension is stiffer. Also you will probably not be able to find one that is not x dollars over msrp.
Just...
Most of the time if the car is newish you are better off selling it yourself.
Heck most of the time it is better if you sell it yourself, but obviously there is more work.
You can compare reliability to other brands and Honda is nearly at the top most of the time.
Not sure what you mean by a cheap car, Civic by definition is a compact made for the masses. It is not a BMW and you should not pretend it to be. I can tell you that between the 9th and 10 gen Civic...
I meant minimalist in design, as in small displacement engine, light weight and almost zero interior luxuries. Aggressiveness and looks are inherited from the base mode, not defined by the Si model.
Civic Si wasn't the leader per se, it was one of the very few options at that time. Sports...
