@haced - Long story short, after talking to Honda Technical Support - a Factory Data Reset solved this issue for me. Go into your system settings and the option should be there.
Also, make sure to take note of any settings or home screen items that you want to set back again after the Factory...
I recently received a new phone (same phone I had before just replacement) and had to re-pair it with my Civic. After doing so, whenever I play music/podcasts, etc. this is the screen I get (see attached image) - music will still play but with no title/artist/album information.
Once again this...
@snbns - That's funny, as I was washing my car a couple weekends ago, I noticed I too had a cracked drivers side fog light. I have no idea when this happened but fortunately it still works, and is not terribly noticeable. Thank you @1WickedCivic for finding that part, but @timothyjay you're...
@lba1977 - After experiencing the loud popping noise, I turned off the Neural Surround and have not experienced it since (Knock on wood) a few months ago, if not last year. It sucks that I am not able to use a feature on the car that I paid a great deal for, but I do not want to experience that...
slowride seems to be on to something. I noticed in another figure, that the location of this "dent" is where two pieces of the frame meet and are welded together, notice the different colors in the pictures. The "dent" is most likely from the grinding/polishing process, only someone or some...
Thanks Namtil101, I specifically asked them about checking the "run channel" after seeing that part pop up on similar threads. The dealer said they didn't see an issue, of course.
It's pretty obvious some of the motors are working harder than others and seems they will eventually burn out due...
So I just read through this whole thread as I just started experiencing this same problem yesterday. This might be the most loud and annoying popping sound I have ever heard, I am thankful no one else was in the car with me to experience that. I will try calling Honda Tech Support like you have...
So I know there have been previous threads about the civicx power windows and how they can be a little buggy, with temporary power loss or straight up just not working. But with previous Honda's I've owned, the windows have all gone up and down at the same speed, but in my Touring, the windows...
Good News.
Dropped off my Touring this morning at the dealership due to engine surging peaking it's ugly head once again, so they they could perform another (2nd) battery cable reset. Just got off the phone with the dealership this afternoon and they said they performed another reset AND to...
I am interested in the clear side-markers as well!
Also interested in the black grille/headlight trim, once there is pricing available.
Great idea collecting interest, Thanks you for starting this thread!
Well, I'm glad to hear that this issue has been fixed for the most part for a lot of people. I plan on bringing my Touring into the dealership to have them perform this "battery cable reset" in the near future.
@themzlab - I don't know enough about this engine or any engine to really to be sure but your theory makes sense to me! The noise sounds very natural and not like its being overworked or forced. And it definitely sounds like a winding "up" sound and not down. That video that @pinoyBalot posted...
I hear this exact same noise, never put much thought into it, but interested when I saw this thread. Mine Touring sounds just like yours, almost like a soft jet engine spooling up when I come to a complete stop at a red light. Although I don't know why it starts up every single time, doesn't...
I am also having this same issue, actually annoying when you're just trying to maintain the same speed on the highway (even though I understand its not the best during the vehicles break-in period). I like Hunter's idea of some built-in code in the system, hopefully turns off after a few...
