Update: 10 months later, I finally installed the CTR shifter + Acuity upgrades! Lol. It was well worth the effort; super happy with it. Thanks for the help!
Yeah, Iām gonna do it myself. I wasnāt planning on spending the $400āI was shocked at the estimate and started to wonder ifI was in over my head. I got a $300 gift card and thatās why I thought the CTR w/ Acuity upgrades seemed to be about the right value/ price point without laying out my own...
This sounds like a great Saturday afternoon. Appreciate this mindset going into it. At least untill Iām 4 hours and 6 beers deep. Lol Iāve got the trim tools already from some other cosmetic upgrades. Just need a weench extension and Iām g2g.
This advice predicts all of the mistakes I wouldāve made, especially #3. And yes, the part that scares me the most is removing the shifter cables. Thank you so much.
And Go Blue!!
Hi all! I just ordered the CTR shifter with Acuity upgrades. I'm debating doing it myself or paying a mechanic. (Dealership said 3 hours / $400+). \ I also got the shift cable linkage bushings but haven't investigated what that process looks like or costs yet.
What was your experience like...
Just got my Katzkin leather seats installed and itās like a new car. I shouldāve done it sooner.
Order and cost details: black Tuscan leather, red contrast stitching in bolsters, and Si logos done by the installer. The total was $2,350 OTD. $300 for the leather upgrade, which 100% feels worth...
I'm shopping for winter wheels/tires now. I'm likely to get the same setup (Michelin loyal). Wondering if you pulled the trigger on some wheels. What'd you end up with? Like the looks?
I think the chances are pretty good that you'll get it a little under MSRP at that point--there's an OTD price thread in the forum (keep an eye on that as the time gets closer) where some have already been able to get it for maybe 500 off MSRP. I'd guess you'll be in that situation around the...
I had a little leverage, having been approved through lightstream.com (very reputable; part of SunTrust Bank) for 2.59 for 60 months. And then it was on them to beat it, which they did. If you have good credit, it shouldn't be a problem for the finance office to find you a loan at or better than...
Ordered from hondapartsnetwork.com. This is a screen shot for the Si Sedan--*probably* the same parts for the coupe, but you can navigate through their site to make sure.
I'll post pics and give an update on clearance after it's all said and done. Still waiting on delivery.
