Got a new battery at the end of Sept. Noticed this discharge (corrosion) yesterday. I have to wait until Monday to bring it in. He says I can still drive it.
Should I not drive it until then?
So I found it in the system and did the reset. But it looks weird. The wording makes it look like it's going to reset everything and not just the transmission oil.
They reset the oil indicator but I have no idea if they reset the CVT Transmission Fluid indicator. I have to look at the owner's manual but does the system allow you to check and reset the CVT indicator?
I just had my CVT transmission fluid changed yesterday at my local mechanic (at 31K miles), though the MM had not gone off yet. Is the MM still going to go off randomly even though it's been changed?
Last one was likely a squirrel or something that stuck that weird black walnut in the wheel hub.
I have since installed cameras all over the property. No one did anything to it while at home.
It's on the back end not the front. No curbs, I did hit a curb once by accident back in 2018 but only on the tire.
Not being funny, I really am at a loss on this one. Unless some lowlife pile of scum decided to grab a rock and scrape it to be funny.
As promised here is my update.
Checked the psi cold this morning after it sat all night.
Three tires are at 32.5 and one is at 33.
I'll have to recalibrate the tpms again but this time actually drive around more than 2 minutes so it will hopefully stick this time.
I wonder if this is my problem as well. Drove about an hour yesterday and out of nowhere the TPMS went off. Checked the tires with my portable gauge. one was around 42.5 psi. The other three around 40 psi. I haven't added any air since I don't even remember. The only thing I can think of is...
So if the psi is still normal tomorrow AM then I should try re-calibrating it then drive around for a while?
And if one is flat then I guess it will be self explanatory.
It's just weird that it would throw the code when none of the tires were showing as being low.
Hi all,
Has anyone here experienced a TPMS going off if there is no issue?
Mine went off earlier today and I checked all of the tires. They were overinflated, with one being even more so than the others (42 psi VS 40 psi with the others). I let out some air from all of them (it's down to 35...
I think you missed the point of my post. What I was saying is that this oil dilution issue should not even be a thing, let alone being told that you must be required to drive a certain amount or else you are basically guaranteed to get it.
People buy Hondas historically because they have the...
I walk to work.
I mostly use the car after work and on weekends. I try to not just make short trips, I prefer the temperature meter to be up to temp the way it is supposed to be. Sometimes I do make some short trips but overall I try to at least drive long enough for the operating temperature...
