I’m sorry, but that’s just really poor clutch skill. There’s no reason that you shouldn’t be able to get it back out on the incline. You need to get to your friction point and gradually let off the brake as you increase your clutch. You can do it with your handbrake, clutch, and gas if it’s...
I wouldn’t do suction cups on this roof. It’s super flimsy sheet metal. The car wash causes my roof to rumble (my 2008 and 2014 had the same problem). The Aeroblades actually look kind of cool on my car, as they continue the black theme contrasting with the grey (I got a full black Thule set)...
Hahaha wow. Chill out, folks. First of all. CVT and automatic transmission are NOT the same thing. If you’re basing the argument on that, you need to sit down, shut up, and listen.
Secondly, I am a fan of manual transmission, but I’m not going to pretend the CVT is absolute shit either. There...
Exactly. I’d also like to note that there’s little evidence so far to claim that the MT lasts longer than the CVT. Honda just simply hasn’t been making CVT long enough to see if it will last the 25-30 years the MT does. And, really, is anyone going to keep it long enough to kill it?
Wow lol. This whole thing is becoming almost political in its polarization.
First of all, MT is hands-down fun. If you don’t know how to drive/have never owned a MT, you don’t understand. It is, by far, my favourite setup.
That being said, MT has certain drawbacks. I’d ideally have one of...
I wasn’t aware that the Hondata and Ktuner were ready for the CVT. Thanks for letting me know! How much of a change have you noticed in average fuel efficiency after the tune? I’m interested in trying it out myself.
It really prends on which trim you’re getting. I usually drive a MT, but I got a CVT this time in my Sport Touring. While not as exhilarating as the 6-speed would have been, I get a few more features, my resale is going to be better, and I still have tons of fun. The Sport Touring also has a...
My Sport Touring was delivered with 60km+ on it. It was transferred from another dealership about 150 KMs away. I kind of always just assumed that they took it for a spin when it was delivered. I wouldn’t have cared much except that I baby my new engines for at least the first 1,000 KMs. My...
Uh that’s a modified version. That’s the Sport Touring colour. The rims and headlights are wrong, as well as the chrome trim over the doors, but that colour only comes in Sport Touring. Someone paid a LOT of money to change the colour to Sonic Grey.
She’s going to LOVE it. I get complimented...
Yeah. I LOVE your pano roof, but I guess mine is a bit more practical when using a roof rack. I can vent and open mine without any problem while the roof rack is on. I have plenty of clearance.
(I’m still jealous of your pano roof, though! Haha!)
I think you have a different sunroof than we do in North America. The roof rack doesn’t come anywhere near our sunroof. I asked the dealer and he confirmed that it would not be an issue.
I don’t have the bike tray on at this very moment, but I haven’t yet taken off the bars.
Check it out.
I went for the Thule AeroBlades and the ProRide upright bike carrier on the roof. Thule dealer here didn’t find it safe enough for my car to put it on the back. He was concerned about damage to my car.
Bought and installed last week. The aeroblades are amazing and the proride doesn’t really...
