Not sure where you're located. I Havnt read through all of the posts to find out, but I live in NC and have a set. The wheels are I great condition, and the tires have 8000 miles on them. A lot of miles, but still some tread. Let me know if you're interested.
Good: People always asking "did you buy it like that", "what is it", "that's an awesome civic", or "wow, I've never seen one before"
People around here have no idea what this car is. At the inspection shop, the guy asked me "what's so special about it?" Some kids think its a Focus, others a...
I work in a tool and die shop and we constantly have tough nuts and bolts to remove. We use stuff called FREE. Its kind of like WD-40 and PB Blaster. Use this stuff with some heat, and you should be good to go. Not 100% effective, but will drastically reduce the chance of a broken stud. I...
Thanks for the link. I've never heard of them before either...Not that that's a bad thing. Looking at the intake for the base and Si, it looks like a nice piece. I know its me being extremely picky, but do you think that the MAF housing could be offered in a raw finish? The orange looks OK...
I definitely think you could daily drive it. I don't think you'll regret it. I love the look of the new Si's and how you can build the 1.5 to get decent numbers, but I don't think its the same as an R. Its the best handling car I've ever owned or driven in. Good luck!
I like it. Hopefully it will actually benefit the car instead of being a show piece. If all turns out to be good, I'd buy one if they're not outrageous.
I've ordered mine from Evasive. They were out of stock on the gloss black but had the gun blue 2. They told me that the black would be back in stock sometime this month. Look up typer_bryant on Instagram if you don't already follow him. He had them on his PMM.
Spoon Sports for me. A little weird to get used to just because its smaller than it looks. Very light weight and wont burn your hands in the summer. Honestly, I love it now that I'm used to it.
I usually get "what is this thing?" or "did you buy it like that?" Occasionally I have someone stop by that knows what it is, but living in a small town in NC...forget about it. I usually just tell them its a civic. If they don't know what it is, I'm not going to try to explain it. I used to...
Ive only seen 1 in the Hickory NC area. It was an Aegean Blue one. The day after I bought mine, I was driving and a girl in an EP3 was flagging me down so she could stop and look at it. In the middle of talking to her, a transfer truck hauling 4-5 of them drove by. Pretty neat to see that lol
