Carmax has a few used CTRs and all of them are above msrp. So though the CTR might not be a good investment, at least if you need to sell your CTR, the resale value remains high
About a couple of months ago, I saw a newspaper add from one of our big Ford dealers that had 3 - 4 new RS in stock and was offering over 4K off msrp. I don't think this is going to happen with the R anytime soon :)
I think most people know this but if you tap on the turn signal it will give you three blinks, as an indication you are going to change lanes. Push further and the turn signal stays on.
Here is a previous post where I uploaded some pics of my Laminxed fogs:

If this hooks up to your OBDII Port then this is another indirect system that probably works like Honda's TPMS which I have found unreliable as several people have mentioned. I bought a system with sensor's that screw into the valve stem and came with a separate monitor. No problems so far...
Emailed msjsracing about the cost. They said around $1200. Ouch  I guess I will stick with OEM. Love the sequential turn signal though. I hope someone will come out with a retro fit kit for the OEM lights.
I think this sold already but Carmax in Boynton Beach had a used Type R for $36k. Glad used Type R still holding their value.

Light output seems a little less, but I thought the OEM fogs were almost too bright for fog conditions. I think they will work better in fog now with the LaminX, but have not driven in fog yet.
Top Gear has a Civic Type R "GT" for a long term test:

They spell out the difference between their GT trim and non -GT trim, which might be like the difference between our base and touring trims (if...
So I randomly saw this video the other day for car washing products but noticed their Type R has what looks like the optional hatchback spoiler on it.
I thought the optional spoiler was too much but I have thought before that the regular hatchback spoiler might be nice. I don't like the...
Its real leather as far as I can tell.
Yes, the stitching is the only thing that casts any doubt if this is real. Some other things that did check out OK was the weight of the knob is virtually the same as quoted by King Motorsports (156g vs 155g), and that the top lettering seems laser...
Thanks. I really like it. I think it goes better with the shift boot than the red.
As to if it is real, I think so. Quality and stitching are top notch. The only thing that gives me any doubts is that location of the seams are different than most pics I've seen, though I have seen at...
Look what I got in the mail today!
Love the look and feel of the new knob. It's about the same size of the OEM knob and slightly heavier. I thought the OEM was a bit too slippery. The leather definitely helps with the grip. Highly recommended!
Dealer said it had 30 miles when they received it and put on 1 mile prepping it. I kinda wonder about that sometimes. My car was an early production number, 232, and the dealer received the car Nov 2. I figured it was recalled because of the harness issue and that they drove it at the factory...
