Well, my wife brushed a column this morning. Super bummed. It's a shame that the quarter panel got caught up in it, otherwise the repair would have been easy. Just wanted to get people's input on the best course of action. The rear bumper cover is easy. I do have a finisher in our production...
Keeping a very close eye on this. IMHO Toyota is late coming out of the gate with this class of vehicle. Should of done it 2 years ago to compete against the civic, Volkswagen, veloster, Mazda 3, etc...
But if Toyota dumbs it down then I wonāt give it a second look.
Thatās looks like a great alternative to my shiny cool looking ARES. The reviews on Amazon are very good. I find it interesting that the CTA is 56mm ID and my ARES is 55mm ID. Some folks on Amazon said the CTA was extremely tight.
Just changed the rear brake assembly on my 2008 Accord. Used the ARES adaptor for Honda and it worked perfectly. Since I own a 2017 Civic Hatch, a 2013 Civic EX-L and an 08 Accord, I figured it was worth the investment. Had the hose crimped at a local shop. Cost me 6 bucks for the hose and to...
So your familiar working with R-1234yf refrigerant? You have the equipment and experience? The only situation that sounds close to what your describing is that some civics come from the factory a little low on refrigerant.
Iām right there with all of you. First time in my life I have experienced AC issues. My last vehicles each had over 225,000 miles and no AC issues. No issues at all as a matter of fact. 89 Nissan Pathfinder and 2001 Rav 4. Both manual trans. .
Look under the front grill at your condenser and make sure there is no damage to any of the horizontal tubes. Take pictures. If thereās road damage they wonāt cover it. Hereās a pic of mine. Make sure you inspect and document it carefully.
I would take it to the dealership first. How else will you know whatās wrong with it? Be prepared to pay for a diagnostic fee. Sometimes the dealer will contact Honda for you, but more than likely the service advisor will tell you whatās wrong and how much to fix it. Thatās when you say you want...
Cars at the dealership getting the new compresso.r. Iām paying a $200.00 deductible. Iāll take that over $2200.00 any day! Thank you Honda !
Of course now Iām worried about the longevity of the A/C system in general.
Good news. While waiting on hold for about 25 minutes last night, somebody from Honda CC finally answered the phone. They told me a good will allowance was appropriate and that a regional rep will contact me in the next day or 2. They also asked for the dealer name and service advisor. She...
Iām definitely going to wait until I talk to Honda corporate before I do anything.
Quick update. Picked up my hatch today because I got tired of trying to get ahold of Honda Customer Care(3 days of trying). Good news is the dealer waived my diagnostic fee ($150.00) because they feel Honda will...
