Question for you guys with the AWE touring. I've had my exhaust installed for about 8k km now and I'm finding that only my middle tip gets dirty. Anyone have similar experiences? Shouldn't my tips get equally dirty? Dont mind my dirty car lol

  4. Drain plug specs/recommendations for engine/trans

Hey all, wondering if anyone has found a set of drain plugs that fit the the CTR or should I buy separately? Most of the sets I've found have both engine and trans plugs size M14x1.5 which will fit the engine but our trans needs M20x1.5. Also, should I be wanting a magnetic set?

  7. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

Rubbing was the main reason. Told me I would 100% rub in a full lock turn, as well as rubbing in the rear if I had passengers in the back seat.
  8. Anyone ran 245/35 or 255/35 tires instead of the 30 series instead yet?

Went to 2 separate tire shops in my area and their "experts" advised me against getting 255/35 for the stock rims :hmm:
  9. WTB: OEM Front Lip (71102-TGH-A00) Toronto

Dealers in Canada are selling it for $560 CAD + tax...lol Since the replacement lip is too expensive I don't think I'll sell. Thank you for the interest though.

  11. Thank you everyone on the forums who have advised me!

I did my tint and subwoofer install at Auto Links. John is a great guy and his team take the time to make sure it's perfect. They removed my spoiler (Type-R) to install the tint but almost a year later and I've had zero issues.
  12. What did you do to your Type R today?

From some quick research I'm 99% certain that a 265/35 will fit assuming stock suspension. Found https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery/350130/2018-honda-civic-cosmis-racing-r1-stock-stock which is running 265/35 on 18x9.5+35. And yes I'm on stock suspension. Hope this helps.
  13. What did you do to your Type R today?

Feels almost like stock to me heh. No rubbing at all with 245. 255 or higher the rear tires may rub on a bumpy road.
  14. What did you do to your Type R today?

Put on my winters. Konig Ampliform 18x9.5 with Blizzak 245/40. I plan on putting new summer tires on these once my stock Conti's get low and possibly get dedicated winter wheels next year.

Finally received the Type R specific Rally Armor mud flaps. I was a bit scared the red would be a bit much but I think they turned out great.
  19. Afe Takeda cold air intake

Question for any of you with the Pro 5R (oil) filter: when I installed my oil filter (at around 3000km), the cotton mesh was a nice bluish color. I'm at 7000km now and the filter has changed to be almost white. Is this a sign I should change my filter? Or do I need to clean and re-oil?
