I'm in Canada, and my '17 Sport Touring hatch was covered under the extended warranty for the condenser a couple of years ago. My sister has a '16 EX sedan and just started experiencing the same AC issue a couple of months ago, and also got her condenser replaced under the extended warranty as well.
I am not getting flashed. It might depend on the LEDs you are using. I have the Diode Dynamic SLF Yellow LED's. They place the LED's in the same position as they are for halogen bulbs, so the light will in effect shine the same as halogens, just more intense, yet remain street legal.
Sounds like you may have a leaking condenser. It is a known problem that Honda has extended the warranty on the part for 10 years. Do a search here - lots of threads on here about it. Take it to the dealer to diagnose and replace.
I checked and I have to start paying for them now that it's been 5 years since I got my car. $94 CAD? o_O Think I'll just stick with any combination of Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze.
Left as is. That space behind the fender is in the engine bay, so all kinds of dust and dirt will get in there regardless of whether you cover up that little gap in the wheel well or not. As long as the weather seal (washer) on the plug is tight with the sidemarker, you should have no worry...
I installed the OEM clear sidemarkers on my hatch, and mine looks like that. Had them on for over 5 years and have had no issues, and it snows where I live.
I am in Toronto where they love to use that salt-like brine stuff on the roads in the winter, and haven't noticed any rust on my 2017. I don't have any rustproofing on the car. I also only have just over 40,000km on it, since I have been working from home since the pandemic began, so the car is...
I got these for the door sills. More substantial than just film, and they look exactly like the OEM ones without the back lighting. But they also have backlit ones too, at a much much cheaper cost than OEM. OLIKE for Honda Civic 2016-2021 10TH New Sedan Hatchback Fashion Style Car Door Sill...
I have a Carlinkit 2.0, and it works great. Some of the early firmware was a bit buggy (occasional random disconnect or freeze), but they finally got it right a year or so ago and it has been near flawless since. There is a Carlinkit 3.0 out now, which supposedly connects faster upon start up.
I'm able to route the cable on my dash cam in between the A-pillar and windshield. A small section of the cable is visible where the pillar meets the dashboard where it wrapsaround. Then I tuck the cable around and under the rubber seal of the door frame, and under the dash to the fuse box where...
Grab the mirror and just push it up towards the ceiling. Or grab the piece that connects between the windshield and mirror, and push the end that is closest to the mirror up. There are ball joints at the back of the mirror and where it connects to the windshield.
Never seen that issue with the turn signals. Have you tried flipping the bulb to change the polarity of the connector? Or swapped left to right and vice versa? If you still have issues, I would contact the Amazon seller. Put the regular bulbs back and see if it goes back to normal as well.
Got...
Didn't apply anything to the LEDs, just plugged them in. I can't remember how they plug in, if you plug the cpnnector into the blub, then twist it into the socket. But if so, I would be hesitant to add any kind of lubricant, as if the bulb falls off into the inside of the housing, it would be...
Turn signals: iJDMTOY (2) No Hyper Flash 24W High Power Amber 7440 W21W T20 LED Replacement Bulbs Compatible With Car Front or Rear Turn Signal Lights (No Load Resistor Required)
Backup lights, I think were these (my brother had actually bought them for me, so I'm not sure) - LUYED (2...
I just left them. Have no issues with heat or any noise.
Haven't tried their turn signal, trunk, or reverse lights - I used alternate LEDs for those, but I would imagine they would be just as good quality. You'll need to install resistors for the turn signal LEDs to prevent hyper-flashing. I...
Diode Dynamics are definitely legit. They may cost more, but I have never been let down by any of their products.
I have the SLF Yellow Fog LED's installed and they look great. I also have their XP80 brake light LEDs installed, which have lasted over 10 years so far. I had them previously on...
Diode Dynamics - Fog Light LEDs for 2016-2021 Honda Civic (pair)
I have the SLF Yellow (3000K), and they look great. These are true yellow, where most cheap "yellow" fog light LEDs have a greenish tint to them. These are plug 'n' play with the OEM fog light housing and wiring.
Looks like, just as with the first few years of the 10th gen, Canada gets a better equipped Sport hatch than the US, as it comes with the 1.5T engine and has much of the same features as the US EX-L model, as there is no EX-L hatch in Canada.
However, on the sedan side, only the Touring gets...
