I don't see why they would do that. Doesn't Honda still sell more auto than manual Si's? I know the proportion has to be closer than with the sedan/coupe but they will lead with the transmission with the highest take rate, and that should be the auto.
Although i'm sure we all agree the 2016 would easily outsell the 2015's all things being equal, even when the dealer inventories finally are all replaced with 2016 Civics the numbers might not dramatically jump like some are expecting. There are some heavily discounted 2015's right now which...
That's why I dont read the mags or online auto sites for their opinions on styling. My own two eyes work just fine.
Styling/design being subjective as they are, there are certain universal truths and I think one of them is that the new Civic is flat out more exciting and better looking than the...
If the Civic X is dull what the hell do you call the Civic IX, Civic VIII? We need to redefine that term. It seems like the writer is measuring it against the sexiest Euro cars instead of its predecessors.
To me, the design is as sporty and inspired as one of the most mainstream vehicles in...
As far as I know a dealer can take a deposit on anything, has nothing to do with whether Honda endorses or allows it. It's a piece of paper that says they will reserve the car if/when they receive an allocation and that's why it's almost always refundable.
They actually told the dealers that there are widespread issues with the backup cameras in the Civic X cars? Is there a TSB/recall coming? Also might want to add to this thread so everyone gets a heads up: http://www.civicx.com/threads/any-issues-so-far-fit-finish-panel-alignment-etc.883/
New owners.... has anyone had any panel alignment or fit and finish issues (or any other issues for that matter) with their Civic X?
Just wondering if there's any first model year wrinkles to iron out still. Thanks in advance.
That's ridiculous, you should definitely have negotiated for them to install the remote start at the price they quoted.
It seems odd the display screen doesn't have solid black with white text. Is this the same for the Touring models larger screen? About the larger screen it really is a double...
If you're going to vinyl wrap it that color, you have to perform other mods. That would look better with nicer aftermarket wheels, tint, and some blacked out chrome.
Very interesting about this part. On one hand I like the effort if it in fact saves weight. I agree it must be nominal grams we're talking and I gotta wonder if there were not better choices to mess with for minor savings. I'm assuming this is still an early pre production vehicle and the...
I'd actually like to see it WITHOUT the spoiler. I wonder if I will like it as much. Either way I am totally impressed by Honda cutting so much off the length, that was really unexpected. Now the question is how much weight did it lose? Is 100 LBS too much to hope for?
Can't wait for this. Can you please grab some nice profile shots showing how far the rear bumper protrudes. I'm hoping it's not as bulbous as the prototype photos make it look.
MT is nuts if it thinks the coupe is going to look as aggressive as the concept. Not even close. You also only need to look at history to know the coupe and sedan will not look that different.
Can't wait! I wonder if it will be live streamed like the sedan reveal or if that's just when the sites can release the info. I'll be doing a lot of reloading here.
New Civic owners .. Any good stuff you can share that the guys behind you should know about?
What are the biggest surprises (positive) and disappointments so far?
I don't think the Si necessarily needs more aggressive bumpers just ones that are sleeker and less bulgy. The new Civic has some really sharp lines and creases even in sedan form. It's not a rounded soft mound like the previous generation. That is what is so off putting of the bulging bumper on...
