What limitations are there for AA? I know you can't change the mids, lows, and highs unless you're in another source and you can only use playlists, but what other limits are there?

This is a pretty broad question. I would say that AA is designed to give you limited options so that you can remain concentrated on driving.

I guess it is pretty broad. I'm trying to figure out all the little bugs and "cons" of AA (as well as the rest of the car) as to not be caught unawares if/when I come across them.

If you're just looking to read about other people's problems with AA, this is a good start:

Keep in mind that these are often specific to a phone/car combination.
I might suggest putting this and an Apple reference in a sticky. I predict a lot of questions on Android/IOS as we're seeing already.

I don't like not being able to sort by artists or albums. I know the point of Android Auto is to use your voice, but most of the time, I'm not sure what I want to listen to beforehand and like to scroll through my music to find what I'm in the mood for. I've never got around to building playlists, but apparently that is limited as well. I also have a limited data plan, so streaming is out of the question.

Yeah, I wish I could at least search through all my artists or albums while at a complete stop. Can AA play downloaded playlists or will they always be streamed, I wonder.
