So no one tried to pop the plastic trim piece off to apply the vinyl...Beuller.....Beuller?Is there a DIY on how to remove the trim pieces? Or did you guys install the wrap with the trim piece still installed?
I didn't but when some one reveals how I'm redoing mineSo no one tried to pop the plastic trim piece off to apply the vinyl...Beuller.....Beuller?
Nice, did you applied and trim with knife? Also, what is the blue switch on the left panel?I just joined the cabon club.. LX Coupe..
I'm a retired car stereo installer so cars come apart easy for me.. I pulled the radio and removed the panels from the car completely, then seperated the silver trim and A/C vent, cleaned the panels with alchol, got out the heat gun and started wrapping. total job time was less than an hour but according to my wife I make this stuff look easy.Nice, did you applied and trim with knife? Just run the razor blade across the tangent between the two parts. Yes, it will scratch the material, but you will never be able to see the scratch. You won't even be able to see it when the vinyl isn't there. You only need to push hard enough to cut the vinyl also. It's not like you have to dig the razor blade into the plastic below. How is everyone cutting the vinyl so perfectly? I've held off on putting mine on just because it's not worth scratching my interior

The Blue button is just to turn on and off my radar detector (i hard wired it above the rear view mirror and the on/off button on the unit is hard to get to, It was the only switch i could find in my tool box that would fit so Blue it is...)
