Would love them to offer a blackout package or preferably a black chrome package that changes out the bright chrome pieces. I'd definitely throw money into that as an accessory for the car.

Unfortunately they're probably saving all the black/black chrome accents for the Si models.

It looks naked without the spoiler. But naked in a good way. ;)

Looks great. Personally I'm a fan of less-is-more with most Hondas. Call me crazy, but I'm looking forward to seeing a white base LX with no accessories. As with the 8th gen coupe, since they got the basic proportions and wheel-well gap right, every version should look good.

I think there is a photoshop mistake.. the coupe with the wing casts a shadow on the led rear brake light strip.. without spoiler this shadow should be gone.

They designed the lights so that it gets darker towards the middle so it's not really a shadow.

"To make sure it didn’t turn its “signature C-shape” taillights into one, big taillight that would look like a used staple, Honda designed the light bar to get dimmer as it neared the center of the car."

It's these little touches that make the new Civic Coupe so appealing. That little design decision makes the tail lights that much more interesting.

The 2016 Civic Coupe that debuted last week was equipped with factory accessory wing spoiler and wheels. The stock Civic Coupe will come without a wing spoiler and with the same wheels as on the sedan. We give you a look at the Coupe without spoiler.

Without this particular spoiler, it looks very sleek. Unless Honda introduces another spoiler option, people might just opt out for this option.

Me too, LX manual coupe. That's an enthusiast's build.

Without spoiler shows off the rear end's lines even more, which is the best looking part of the coupe. It's a good thing the spoiler didn't come standard or you'd have holes remaining if you removed it to get this clean look.

I don't know what Honda was thinking with the stock Civic X wheels but I'm glad they designed a car that looks great with such an easy/common mod. Black wheels all the way on this car IMO.

Each of the stock wheels are too busy for me. I prefer simpler single-colored wheel styles. The designs seem to be pretty busy and are very 'filled in' so there's a lot of material. Might mean the wheels are heavy. Some of the other owners are starting to weigh the stock wheels so we should know weights soon. If they're heavy, swapping out for lighter aftermarket wheels will give even better MPG, performance and steering feel.

Agree less is more here. Simpler wheels, less clutter in the rear decklid.
